Many countries are already trying to get rid of the dollar due to the strangle hold the USA tries to keep on international trade. A good example is the BRICS countries pushing for trade to be based on another currency instead of the dollar.
The days of the dollar is numbered and has been for years already. Problem is that there has not been any viable alternative to take its place. Bitcoin can and it will, give it time.
I would personally highly doubt they will succeed in this. The reason the dollar is so widely used is because it is so stable and is baked by the largest economy in the world.
If you were to use this kind of logic then the value of the bitcoin network would need to exceed the size of the US economy
