my suggestion is hash with Deephash algo, ruled out multipool and instamine. and better setup a P2P pool first . let int be a pure and fair GPU and CPU coin.

check deepcoin algo here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=667470.0

Yea, I will be hosting an official pool for the coin (p2pool). Other pools will have to advertise somewhere else (sorry but I don't like risking a 51% attack like last time). Deepcoin didn't release their python hash module so I don't think I could create a p2pool and X11 has a lot of votes right now so that's what I think i'm going to go with.

The last supply will be only 10% ? Do I understand right?
Just create a new coin... why use INT for that?

Only 10 coins per block.

40% premine to cover the redistribution.

We're using INT because we want to bring it back to life, however we may need to change a lot of it's features.

+1 deephash it uses less electricity and runs coolers then any other algo

I'll have a closer look at deephash.

Unfortunately I haven't' received any offer for the logo.

I hate to do this, but PLEASE REMOVE THE LOGO AND ADDITIONAL GRAPHICS.
Unfortunately it is not your property and permission of usage has not been granted.

Thank you

We are still working out on a deal, so please be patient. The official revival starts on the 19th, so that's when you should expect the logos and other graphics to be taken down.

I don't know exactly what are your plan for redistribution
But consider making it "IPO style"
10M coins that will be devided according to one's shares of INT
In case that not all INT will be claimed it will benefit current holders

Yea, that's what I was thinking.

Have an IPO and make people buy INL with their existing INT.
They can also purchase INL with BTC but people with INT will have a better exchange ratio.

Just to remind you that dev walked away after the holders shouted on the idea of new IPO...
You are doing here the same shit....
Trying to raise BTC from an IPO for an already dead coin?Huh
I don't think so....

I call you to drop the idea of purchasing INL with BTC
Leave the redistribution ONLY to INT holders

Well the premine is only 10 million coins, which covers the already existing 8 million. The left overs will be used to cover late exchangers and a small BTC fund.

Well, it seems we don't have rights to use the old IntelliCoin logo.

That pretty much kills the revival, unless you are willing to trade your INT for a new coin, with a totally different algo, name and logo.

Why don't we just make a simple logo for now? Or a quick Logo contest?
I don't see why the stupid logo would take a poop on the whole project.  Roll Eyes

Even if you start a new coin, wouldn't that require a logo also?

Yes, but what we were trying to do was a revival of INT. Without the logo we pretty much have removed everything that was part of the original project.

So set up a bounty for the 0.5 btc left to be paid to bitcrea....

If you are going to change the whole specification you should really just create a new coin. If you want to revive the existing one, you shouldn't make all these changes to it

No problem with reviving a coin and making some changes, it wasn't going anywhere in it's current state so it's not like it's hurting anything by doing this, what's the worst that can happen? It stays dormant like it was because no one was doing anything. At least this way it breathes new life into a dead coin.
