When I first saw this I though great do we need another cloud service. After looking over your site a little and what you offer I like it. I was impressed to you already have a desktop app(hopefully its supported on XP,win7,win8, OSX, linux in the future?). Do you plan on creating and IOS/andriod app or will you only be able to access files or will it only be browser based for those devices?
Well, SkyDrive dropped their storage from
25 GB to 7 GB for new accounts,
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/skydrive/comparebecause of the sudden rush (number of signups) they had as Google Drive offered only 5 GB while they offered 25 GB
and as I said above, We will look into upgrading the storage provided overtime depending on the demand
From what I read on there blog it seemed like they dropped it down because > 99% of people didnt utilize more then 7 GB worth of space.
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/b8/archive/2012/04/23/the-next-chapter-for-skydrive-personal-cloud-storage-for-windows-available-anywhere.aspxwell for now ill be sticking to skydrive still have the free 25GB which is more then enough. At least your competitive and Its great that you accept bitcoins.
The desktop app works only on Windows at the moment (I've tested it on Windows 7 64Bit/32Bit, Windows XP)
For mobile/tab access its through the devices browser at the moment but, there are 3 ways to access files,
1 ->
http://crowncloud.net/cloud/mobile/ That's the low-res version for lowend mobiles
2 ->
http://crowncloud.net/cloud/iphoneThat's for iPhone/iPad/Android Tab/Android Mobile and any other phone which has a good browser
3 ->
http://crowncloud.net/cloudLast way, Directly access the files like its accessed from the pc browser, if the tab is powerful enough, its tested on the Blackberry PlayBook and it works great
Thanks
Accepting bitcoins was the main thing we wanted to do
