Author Topic: Guiminer accepting shares, slush pool site not giving any info about me.  (Read 2656 times)

Hey guys, so start pool mining with my GTX 580, and noticed that on my GUIminer its says the server is accepting my shares, but then when I go on to the slush pool site, it says no shares and 0.0 MHash/s  Huh Huh Huh

oh and 2 days ago I did get some shares but I did not receive and rewards Huh

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I single gpu card will do very very little on bitcoin mining.   You need to use a asic on bitcoin.  You might be able to Scypt mine but bitcoin would be very slow compared to asics.
