simple answer, back to 2009 and buy bitcoin as many as possible and enjoy my retirement today  If you bought them all then some of the other key players wouldn't have gotten theirs and perhaps bitcoin would never have reached the peaks it did. Butterfly Effect. |

What will you do if you had a time machine that could go to the past and the future. But you can only use it once. (ie. you can't take the time machine with you)? Be sure not to end up in the past with notes printed in 2014... I'd stuff my pockets full of gridseeds and block erupters and go to 2009/2010 to mine bitcoins just like Satoshi and early adopters like Hal Finney did back then. Or just wait a few months and buy some coins like this guy who put in $27 and is now a millionaire. Then I'd wait for coblee to launch Litecoin and start mining that too with my gridseeds. Once it hits a few exchanges, I would put a few hundred dollars into it. Then I'd wait for BCNext to post the [ANN] thread for NXT and put 1 BTC into that too. I'd start cashing out my bitcoins and litecoins in late 2013 and wait six more months and then start cashing out my NXT. Or I might go to the distant future where money is obsolete, immortality is invented, etc. |

I would go back in time in 2009, put an auction on this forum like:
I would take my 1000 dollars hard earned in poker and say, who can give me the most bitcoins produced until now will receive 1000 dollars.Then store them in a cold wallet, wait until december 2013 and sell half.

Bitcoin? Eh, what about all the penny stocks that turned out to be hundreds of dollars later. I would download all the stock market's data into my laptop. Then go back to 1990, and buy up all penny stocks 1 after the other. Then after I had billions of dolalrs, i would buy bitcoin up at 2015, not at 2009, to help it move forward, because i would already be rich by my penny investments |
