What will you do if you had a time machine that could go to the past and the future. But you can only use it once. (ie. you can't take the time machine with you)?

Be sure not to end up in the past with notes printed in 2014... Cheesy

Since we're on a bitcoin forum, I'm going to go ahead and say that I'd go back to late 2008 and camp out on Satoshi.
Be-friend him and CPU mine INSTANTLY with my i7's and hoard bitcoins like no tomorrow, praying that nobody hecks me.

I would love to go back to when time = 0.  The big bang.  Check out what was happening, say hello to nothing, grit my teeth and laugh.  You people who said you'd go back to 2009 to buy bitcoin are fucking unevolved animals.

I would go 100 years into the future to see what the world would look like.

Those that choose to go backwards may attempt to obtain wealth, prevent wars or health epidemics based on their knowledge. Changing the past could potentially be very dangerous, as it could alter history's time line, and therewith present and future. An small change may lead to a future where satoshi would not even exist!

Please do not time travel back to a time pre bitcoin.

Traveling to the future presents the problem that you may not exist then.

I honestly don't know where in time i would rather be.

If there's no coming back? I don't know. If I had a time machine I'd probably give it to somebody that wants it. Or sell it

Im doing my work here in this time and place, I'm content. Wherever I go dosn't really matter.

Time machine is a very dangerous thing. Should not play with it. The farther you go back in time the bigger it change the future. If you go back one million years ago and kill just one mosquito or fly it can cause a big change in the current time.

How much is a time machine worth? I'm guessing several billion dollars at auction.
