@Admin: Would you be so kind as to allow this thread to stay in Discussion for 48 hours, whereupon you(s) or I will move it to Off-topic? It would be appreciated. Thank you. EDIT: The goal is to send out 100 emails on Monday/Tuesday.
Due to a recent kick in the ass by a couple Bitcoin 100 supporters, I (we) need to send out more emails to non-profits to try to get them to embed a Bitcoin donation option onto their respective websites. This thread was created to solicit requests from supporters and non-supporters of Bitcoin 100 as to which non-profits you, the reader, would like us to approach. Please submit a name of any charity you feel should be consider. This thread is not meant as a discussion on any of the suggestions, but anybody wishing to express a dislike for any suggestion will be duly noted. That said, here's a few of my suggestions, which feel free to express if you truly don't think I shouldn't pursue any certain ones. Any post with a simple +1 would be nice as well. ~Bruno~ If there are no objections, I will be emailing the below after the 48 hours is up. The list will grow as the suggestions pour in. http://colorlines.com/abouthttp://www.justgiving.com/drinkitjuicebarhttp://www.davidbanner.comhttp://julietibrahimfoundation.orghttp://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=content.support&apl=10http://www.kiva.org/about/supportus/individual#toplefthttp://livinggoods.org/donate1/https://www.ifaw.org/us/secure/donate/support-ifaws-workhttps://npo1.networkforgood.org/Donate/Donate.aspx?npoSubscriptionId=3734https://www.childfund.org/Donation/DonationHomePage.aspxhttp://www.concern.net/donatehttp://www.thevenusproject.comhttps://www.africanleadershipacademy.org/donatehttp://www.globalgiving.org/projects/jobs-for-rural-poor/?rf=ggWidgethttps://www.ashoka.org/donatehttps://npo.networkforgood.org/Donate/Donate.aspx?npoSubscriptionId=1003993http://okfn.org/support/donate/http://hypothes.is/#donatehttp://childsplaycharity.org/donateThe following list has been migrated from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=55398.0I'm adding this list from the OP of main Bitcoin 100 thread. (I will do due diligence prior to sending out any emails, making sure all are appropriate and that there are no duplicates)

Then please contact them. I have been updating a thread for a week asking people to donate AND to contact charities. Everyone expects Bruno to be a one man show - collecting donations, maintaining the thread and the website, and contacting all the charities. I think that’s too much to ask someone that’s also trying to hold down a job outside of Bitcoin. It would me much more productive for each member of the Bitcoin100 to contact one or two charities and move this idea forward. Thanks for the kind post, CBH. To be fair, I have been a tad lack in this endeavor and did need an ass kicking. True, I'm busy, but I had ample time to do a tad more with Bitcoin 100, but have either put it off or ignored it. That said, it's time to get busy. Kiva developers have already been on here with discussion on accepting bitcoin. Be nice to know there progress or decision as the case may be.
Probably true, but would need to take a second look at it nonetheless. I've learned about Charity Navigator thanks to bitlotto's post. Here is their donation page: http://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=content.support&apl=10~Bruno~

I've just updated the title of this thread and edited the first post. The goal is to send out 100 emails to various non-profits, mainly by me. All I wish from you, the reader, is to peruse the list in the OP, pointing out why a certain non-profit shouldn't be approach, coupled with adding your suggestions.

http://hypothes.is/Not a charity per se, but an interesting idea that is seeking donations. Also I'm surprised that http://childsplaycharity.org/ isn't on the list yet.

I've encouraged three orgs to accept bitcoin using facebook/twitter just this morning.
