Do you trade on outside indicators like Google trends or just news hits?  Or do you use only technical analysis?

I trade on hearsay, astrology, and reading the cracks in roasted chicken bones.  I also put faith in MACD, RSI, and ARGH.

Google trends is delayed a few days, but then again it also takes a few days to get set up to buy bitcoin.

That's what I am talking about - the technicals point down, down - but the indicators about bitcoin reaching out from the early adopters ghetto are improving.  Personally I rely more on the outside indicators - because without new funds flowing into the bitcoin economy the price cannot go up.

I follow everything but I put more weight on the so called outside indicators and also my general feeling on how Bitcoin is doing. All I can say for the current situation is that I'm not worried at all. I see the support levels continuing to climb, finally closing in on $5 which is where we'll have an interesting situation. Outside indicators and my general feeling is very good at the moment.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!

I attribute that google trends peak to http://www.reddit.com/r/girlsgonebitcoin and I am pretty sure that this is only the start - it has all the features to go viral in a big scale.

Also bitcoin was on a radio station and major newspaper in Melbourne Aust with Silk Road being talked about on a nation wide prime time TV show of course brining up bitcoins. So thats a lot of new people to take into consideration having interest in drugs or bitcoins.

About girls gone bitcoin, you guys seen this article on gizmodo? http://gizmodo.com/5905394/nsfw-reddit-women-are-getting-naked-for-bitcoins

Some quotes: "virtual currency that's not really worth anything", "internet funny money". I always thought there are ppl with brains on gizmodo, but they are clueless it seems.
