http://cryptoasian.com/shld-shieldcoin/Shieldcoin [SHLD] is lead by developer David (Canada). David has been face verified by his Driver’s License, and personal Twitter. David has also been face verified via a video submission on September 28th. David has also submitted his Skype, personal email, and personal phone number. David states that he has 19 years of computer engineering experience. David is a previous computer storeowner for over 10 years. David states that he has some light JAVA experience, very knowledable in deployment of web environments over Linux OS’s and mentioned that he will hire developers and will oversee the coding as well as the management of hired coders. David mentions that he will be focusing his efforts in Crypto full-time and will also be assembling a team to work with him that is close in proximity. The only work on other coins that David has been involved in is working for deaconboogie on MoonCoin as a moderator in his IRC channel. David has not created any Crypto coins and has control of the GitHub. The best way to contact David is through the Shieldcoin Twitter: @shieldcoindevs or email colonelrickstoner@gmail.com. There has been no in person contact. David has submitted two forms of notarized documents to verify identity. With the above information along with other personal information that I have gathered about the developer of Shieldcoin [SHLD] the rating of 5 Plus+ PODs has been given. http://cryptoasian.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/ratingSHLD.jpgtake it in the first post please ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

we just got delisted on bittrex.. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) why? Low volumes? Yes Bittrex has some funny restrictions for keeping coin listed on exchange. I can understand they want money, nothing is free, but it can't cost that much to keep wallet online. I tried buying with what i had to keep it on exchange, but i guess it wasn't enough. No matter, I'll transfer it to my offline wallet and wait for better days. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Thank you for the overwhelming support. The team at SHIELD feels the same way about Bittrex, it's little to no effect towards the progress in coin development. Trading at cryptsy is better, there is no 500k sat barrier for trading. SHLD is extremely undervalued at this time. Cryptsy trading will allow smaller traders to obtain SHLD. There is many complaints about Bittrex min trade of 500k sats, many small traders can't trade there. Perhaps Bittrex will soon change, but not very likely. - addition to road map Promoting trading at https://www.cryptsy.com/

1) Why relaunched? 2) How exactly does this coin "absorb" dying coins?

1) Why relaunched? to create a trading environment for new crypto users without having to lose their shirts when they invest. distribution is also good and even better running on cryptsy
2) How exactly does this coin "absorb" dying coins?
How exactly does this coin "absorb" dying coins? what exactly do you mean?

Well on that note, a few ideas from the road map are here for you.
Shieldcoin team is working on a simplified version of the wallet, where as both advanced and simple mode will be able to be enabled. This feature will work in conjunction with a web wallet, giving you the ability to bank coins, and withdraw coins with a 2 facto system.
anon features are coming out in many different coins, we are watching the development of these and are in contact with a few different coin devs to in hopes implement anon features. once again the SSL tunnel is not removed from development, we may in fact try to develop this feature.
Twitter functions are being looked into, ideally we would like SHLD to be able to use the twitter network for coin transfers.
trading and volume issues were also in our day to day books, we found no other option than to have trex de list because of the abnormal coin restrictions. With 1 million coins trading, 1000 coins per trade doesn't exactly create a good trading environment.
This coin is intended to currently support smaller numbers, and if in the future it reflects a brick and mortar stock involvement, we here at shieldcoin with all due respect, would like to hold a majority of the coins to secure development and futures.
This could be elaborated on a lot more, viability, and visibility, do we share holdings with community, do we bank holdings, in visible holdings. Create investment stock numbers so that instead of you investing in just a coin your investing in a 'Project'.
Do the old devs hold a big bag of SHLD, which could disrupt the ideas and flow of this project. Shieldcoin is now shielded from any wrong doings, pre-mines, injected code/blocks, or any other type of manipulation that might otherwise be possible.

It looks like anon is dying off 'xst', when we can analyze all anon coin releases, while each one goes open source, and if users demand anon features to be added, the matter will be looked into in the future. if you are not an investor in SHLD, and merely trolling topic, become an investor and there will be merit to your request.
