Has anybody noticed that the recent downturn in newbies asking for handouts in the Lending section has been commensurate with an upswing of "gift cards" being offered for sale?  Often these are being posted by either people who just registered or older accounts that have been dark for nearly a year but then suddenly come out of nowhere to post these gift card ads.  Ex:

Does this raise any eyebrows with anybody, or am I just being paranoid?

I suspect they were obtained via:
  • Social engineering (complain to company, get gift card)
  • Survey/reward sites
  • Carded (bought with stolen credit card)

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

hmmm, someone offering VCC's somewhere?

my bank refuses to allow a transaction to Crédit Mutuel for an ovh server on their "standard" debit card... I guess I'm supposed to pay $10 fee, then $5 a month, then 2% transaction fee to have ability to do international transactions

things such as walmart gift cards are of no use,  since they dont allow international transactions.   other VCC, like entropay, present problems primarily due to UIGEA (with some patriot act thrown in).  well, for me to fund, anyway.
