Is this your thread?  Was this thread started for trading only?  If the answer to both of these are yes I'd be glad to post else where.  (I don't know the answer).  There is currently a HUGE amount of friction in getting fiat into and outof MT GOX via Dwolla and other means.  If members of this board want charge or pay a small fee for the convenience to expedite this process that should be their choice.  There have been numerous members who have taking advantage of  this opportunity.  That's fine if you choose not to, but calling people petty who see an opportunity to provide a much needed (and often used) service in a digital economy seems a little short sighted no?

I'm sorry, I thought you were charging a 1% fee, not offering a 1% compliment.

I called the transaction fee petty, not any person charging one. I apologize for being so harsh though, that was just me thinking we should help one another out as a community, rather than take advantage of one another as business opportunities.

No problem.  A lot of 1:1 trades happen here too.   Some member are glad to pay a point two to get quicker access to their funds.  And for others who aren't in a hurry or have less to trade there is always someone who comes along who is happy to trade.

I can dig that, but at the same time there is some method to the percentage BCB asks. I'd much rather have Dwolla than MtGoxUSD.  It can get into my bank account very quickly. MtGoxUSD, not so much.

People disagree about which is worth more, which is why they are traded in the first place. I think it's reasonable to have all of the trade offers posted in one place, even if they value Dwollars a little bit more that MtGoxUSD, and want to charge for that premium.

Good to hear. Things seem to be improving with dwolla withdrawals. I'm all caught up with withdrawals from last month. Hopefully, mtgox will have some news soon to make this thread no longer needed.
