You can use the getinfo rpc call on your digitalcoin wallet.
That will report that:
Code:
{
    "version" : 3000100,
    "protocolversion" : 3000000,
    "walletversion" : 60000,
    "balance" : 0.00000000,
    "blocks" : 1123751,
    "timeoffset" : 0,
    "connections" : 63,
    "proxy" : "",
    "pow_algo_id" : 1,
    "pow_algo" : "scrypt",
    "difficulty" : 24.55241529,
    "difficulty_sha256d" : 404308.69345351,
    "difficulty_scrypt" : 24.55241529,
    "difficulty_x11" : 58.82338916,
    "testnet" : false,
    "keypoololdest" : 1421179569,
    "keypoolsize" : 101,
    "paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
    "relayfee" : 0.00020000,
    "errors" : ""
}

Or you wait until I've put that into my blockexplorer api.. Will do that today.

Sorry that I forgot to implement it by now.
I'm also developing an online wallet for digitalcoin and doing things parallel are sometimes a bit derp. x]

Whats the url to your explorer? Searched your posts but cant find any info on that.

The website is still not done. But you can have a look at http://block.digitalcoin.co
Don't judge me on some weird things on there.
If you've any suggestions or something else, its always welcome. Smiley

The API calls you can use:
http://block.digitalcoin.co/api.php?coin=DGC&data=difficulty < Gets you probably what you need
http://block.digitalcoin.co/api.php?coin=DGC&blocks=10 < Last 10 blocks
http://block.digitalcoin.co/api.php?coin=DGC&tx=e5fc502ed181513f45e87d08df149375320e746e6a47fbdeff6bf4e9c1f6e8bb < Info about that transaction
http://block.digitalcoin.co/api.php?coin=DGC&block=1094085 < Info about that block
http://block.digitalcoin.co/api.php?coin=DGC&block=1094085&opreturn=true < Lists any OP_RETURN info which is in that block

Blocks and the difficulty info is updated every 5 minutes.

I opened DGC wallet, it reindexed the Chain and updated to latest block(even though it was updated with the latest wallet and synced as of 2 weeks ago.)

Closed wallet, opened it again, and it's reindexing again. any ideas?

Please update to the latest wallet version,
if thats not helping, check your digitalcoin.conf and remove "reindex=1".

Started up a account at Crypto Cloud Hosting.  Was quick and painless,  and there are lots of nice features. Very reasonably priced also.

Noobie.io is going to be fantastic!

So I have an old Wallet that I had in a light client called Dub that was created by Baritus when he was the dev, I haven't touched this in a while, but upon syncing, it appears it will not sync past Dec 5th or so. I'm assuming this is when a hardfork occurred.

Does anyone know of a way around this or another client I can put this wallet into? I'm unable to find any newer versions of Dub or any real info at all on it, but assume it has been abandoned.
