Hello Bitcoiners,

I'm introducing BitcoinWeekly.info as a way to promote Bitcoin to our friends, family, and coworkers on a daily basis.

Simply, I am producing a weekly newsletter for you to print out and post in your home, work place, or anywhere that will highlight recent news in the Bitcoin world. They are just talking points, but delivered in a consistent and stimulating manner. Every time someone walks by your desk, they can be reminded that Bitcoin is an active, growing, and positive topic.

Take every opportunity you can to talk with people about how it works, get them to try a wallet, and engage them. Over time, if we all do this, positive Bitcoin awareness will explode.

If you subscribe to the mailing list (BitcoinWeekly+Subscribe@googlegroups.com), I'll send you a download link once a week so you don't even have to think about it. Just print out the flier and post it somewhere conspicuous. You can personalize it so people in the break room know how to find you, etc.

Also, I'm doing a Bitcoin give-away through coin4.me. Each day, randomly, between 1000 and 1200 PST, new Bitcoins will be made available. The idea is that you encourage someone at your desk, who happens to stop by and inquire about the flier can try their luck at getting some Bitcoins right then and there.

I hope you guys like this idea and help spread it around.

Good luck and Viva La Bitcoin!

Just to clear up any confusion... This newsletter isn't for YOU, the Bitcoiner... I'm confident that you're already knowledgeable with the events going on in the Bitcoin community... This newsletter is so the people around you can see what's in that brain of yours, be able to visualize the dollar value, see for themselves that Bitcoin is a growing and evolving viable financial instrument - simply by their proximity to you.

Some requested updates to the newsletter. Rotated the PDF for easy reading a computer/phone and moved the QR codes around for easier scanning.

I like this concept a lot for the vlog I am currently working on.

Its important to find relevant and fresh topics for discussion when advertising and promoting an opportunity as cutting edge.

I'll definitely be using this and related information as a resource for further vlg discussions.

The first 100 people that signup for the Distribution list will have a chance at wining 5 of my "Ask Me About Bitcoin" tshirts. They are very high quality and you'll get lots of attention wearing it. These are the same tshirts I sell on BitMit.net for $12 (http://bitmit.net/en/trade/i/688-bitcoin-ask-me-tshirt-l).

There is a name collision with the inactive bitcoin weekly magazine at bitcoinweekly.com, which I own.

This could be confusing when I start up the magazine again. How do you want to handle this?

Thank you! Report back any interesting encounters you have. I'd like to know how this is working for you guys.

Great initiative. Just signed up for the weekly poster. Don't send me a T-shirt, I just ordered one from you on BitMit.

thanks for the vote of confidence. I hope this helps you promote bitcoin in your local social circles... and as for the tshirt, it's just a 1 in 20 chance... if you do win (another), you can do anything you like with it... perhaps use it for your own local bitcoin contest with your coworkers... first 5 people to load a wallet app on their phone or something gets a chance to win it from you... you guys can come up with your own fun things to do.
