So I haven't had time to try to fix the issue, and I kinda want to get it sorted. Okay here's the problem:

I use google chrome. I have been for a long time, and for the last couple months I can't use some websites because of an SSL error. I can't use:

google
gmail (part of google I guess)
youtube
yahoo

This is the error -- Error code: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

I checked, and I have some fraudulent certificates (google/youtube included) and I can't remove those either.

I'm sure this can't be a big deal, but I'll may 1mBTC for it Smiley depending how this goes, I will tip a bit extra.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

As far as I've seen you may need to change for a while the timezone to UTC, then go to internet settings (internt explorer, internet options) -> content -> clear ssl state.

All movie is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xm3nwmB6Tmg

Did pm him the same Cheesy

Here again :

Step 1:
Click "Customize and Control Google Chrome" menu.
Step 2:
Click "Options" button.
Step 3:
Under "Google Chrome Options" window select 'Under the Hood" tab.
Step 4:
"Under the Hood" tab go to "Security" section.
Select Trusted SSL Certificates
Step 5:
Click "Manage certificates" button.
Step 6:
In the "Certificates" window you can Import, Export and Remove your SSL certificates.
Step 7:
To setup computer-wide SSL settings follow this step.
'Use SSL 2.0': This is an older version of the SSL protocol that is less secure. However, some websites may require visitors to use this version when browsing. If so, select this option only if you trust the website.
'Check for server certification revocation': Turn on real-time verification for the validity of a website's certificate, for extra security. A certificate can be revoked by its third-party issuer if it detects that the certificate has been compromised or stolen.

oh I should have included a list of things I tired already.

I have tried to:

clear SSL cache
fix my internet time
import a real certificate from a separate browser
configured my brower to use SSL 2.0

all as per instructions. But the problem persists.

I will try now. I have some certificates from DigiNotar if that helps.

EDIT: deleted the fraudulent certificates, problem still persists.

1. Shut down Chrome.

2. Run chrome.exe --enable-unrestricted-ssl3-fallback

3. Type about:version in the location bar. Verify that the Command Line includes --enable-unrestricted-ssl3-fallback.

this issue is caused by something in the network filtering secure connections. (It could possibly be "firewall" software on your own computer.)

yip it has it.

Okay so deleting the other fraudulent certs caused youtube to work again. Now I just have a google cert in the 'other people' tab.
