I've been trying to access my blockchain.info wallet since last night both on my phone and pc and it won't load. Has it been hacked (less likely), or is it just a ddos? Is bitcoin going to $2 again ?

It was a cunning plan to have the funny man be the money fan of the punning clan.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Down for me.

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/blockchain.info confirms. Maybe DDoS, backups, *shrug*?

Thanks for the replies, I'm glad to see it's not just me!
I'll post if the situation improves.

Site seems to be having a bit of trouble. Im still away from home and cant administer it from here
but an engineer at the datacenter should be restarting the web server shortly.

If it doesnt come back online straight away you can import wallet backups into multibit.

My personality type: INTJ - please forgive my weaknesses (Not naturally in tune with others feelings; may be insensitive at times, tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, tend to believe I'm always right)
