BTC becoming just a fiat entry point for alts?

It would be nice if more alts could sever ties with BTC and Fiat.

How is this accomplished?
Stop placing value on them, if you own a business, accept only the crypto of your choice - and no fiat!

Crypto can maintain value on its own if you all act together and only accept it as a form of payment.

Not sure the economics of that, but maybe just tie it to gold or some other limited resource, or precious metal.
