I have been scammed by an eBay buyer in a way I have never seen before.
He had arranged the shipment via UPS, I only had to bring it to a local UPS depot.

UPS billed him, but then he refused to pay the shipment invoice, so UPS send me the shipment bill. According to their small print, I am obliged to pay, which I am refusing. UPS already approached a lawyer and they will start a lawsuit.

Don't make the same mistake I did. Just let the buyer pay for your goods including the cost of shipment and arrange the shipment yourself.

They are charging me over us$300 for a package that weight a few pounds and was shipped from the Netherlands to the USA.

Thanks for this information. I am also seeing an increasing amount of people who contact me via PM in ebay, asking for "special" arrangement in regards to payment, shipping and price.
So far have I just rejected everything not aligned with the standard ebay sales flow (for my own protection).

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.
