Why x11? The majority of x11 hashing power always comes from FGPA's/ASIC's/Chineese megafarms or whatever you want to call it, who couldn't care less about a coin, just mine and dump below the cost of typical GPU mining. I mean which was the last successful x11 coin?

Hey,

Could you give me a better alternative algo that would suit the community. the coin is not in development yet so all will be taken on board by the community and we can work together on whats best for this coin. ?

Basically any algo which doesn't have multipools and cloudmining services pointed at because if it hits an exchange, those will mine this until the profitability of mining decreases to the usual levels without even knowing the name of the coin. Here are a few algo choices in no particular order:

jackpot
qubit
fresh
groestl
myr-gr
quark
whirlcoin
keccak
luffa
blake
skein
m7

Why is your projected startup cost 1-2 btc? How do you not know how much you need?

Hoping 3-4 years we are currently calculating coins per block plus super blocks. Ordinary blocks will not be of high count and  will always have the same reward until halving so we can keep it fair for most people.

More info later Smiley

Altcoincoin creation, website + yearly hosting, up to 1btc . Upgrade of coin logo. Pay bounty for twitter & Facebook marketing. Remaining funds will be held towards the next poll which would hold a list of features that you, the community decide to implement as a new feature!!

It's a community coin guys Smiley

Unfortunately, the donation system rarely works which means no motivation for you long term which is why I'm suggesting that you should have a donation address which automatically takes a small amount, something like 0.5% of every mined block, upon mining. If you offer this as a communtiy coin I think it's only fair if we reward you as well while motivating you long term. I mean the initial value is not threatening to the market and it only rewards the dev if he delivers, over time. Thoughts?

Hey that would be a great idea and i would have no problem in meeting these terms as it sounds fair.

Although we must reach some funding in order to get the coin developed. i was planning on using E.exchanger as he has good experience. the cost would be 1btc for any coin  and also wth 24/7 support, algo + website/hosting,.

This is why i ask for 1-2btc to cover these costs.

Thanks

This all means that you can't actually code yourself. Also you are terrible at marketing.

What can you do properly?

Avoid this coin please. Rly man, you want the ppl to pay for your expenses of setting up a basic shitcoin?

And btw loljosh can make you a coin with nodes, website, 024 support for 0.5 btc... Pft.

no I cannot code myself otherwise I wouldn't be asking for funds to make this coin...

Why not invest in this "shit" coin?

As stated " YOU THE COMMUNITY DECIDE WHICH FEATURES ARE IMPLEMENTED IN THIS COIN. I MAKE NO FINAL DECISIONS OR MONEY!!!

Miners mine and block rewards are low so it will last a long time for this community.

Why not use an escrow to hold the donation funds instead of asking people to trust you?

Please search loljosh in sear box and read the posts about him...

But I will say if the community wishes to use loljosh that's your decision and the funds needed will be lowered.

I personally only hold a small amount of bitcoin , I would pay for funding if of the project if I had the funds.

Put it this way,

I'm not asking for 100 btc like most coin devs. I'm not trying to scam anybody. I'm just trying to make a new community coin.

Adding to altcoincallender coming soon Smiley

These are features that will be implemented if the community agrees to this.

To let you in on one idea in mind is to get involved with other big forums online for advertisement of Bombcoin.
The more communities online that we can attract the more people will get interested in this coin.

Look at redd for instance, it  has huge traffic  it was trading very low then all of a sudden it rises as more people get involved. so we need to meet more communities online to get people to recognise our coin therefore more investors.

Cheers guys
