Wow this is full of trolls and loons lets clear things up!

1)This has not and will not happen in the US, America is getting businesses that deal with bitcoin to open and they pay taxes
2)Russia probably won't have this pass
3)"Actor"Tom_Truong  is full core insane and all europeans are not inbred and there is no conspiracy here
4)Cary on like usual even if a ban happened there would be zero enforcement.

I agree on points 1,2,3 and but i'm not sure 4 is true, especially if russia approves the ban. Its hard to see them pass it though. they would stand to gain financially by launching bitcoin related commerce projects.

Governments and big banks HATE bitcoin, so they will do anything and everything to bring it down. Russias ban on bitcoin wont succeed. Other countries im sure will follow suit, but the best way to go is if you cant beat em join em...

I wonder what makes them ban bitcoin. Look like less people is supporting Bitcoin nowadays.

Less people? How?

Russia is the largest country (however, not largest population). Thus, if Russia ban bitcoin, about half the population of human will not be able to use bitcoin.

China banned Bitcoin and yet they have the highest volume of trades.

If Russia bans Bitcoin the trade volume will be through the roof.
Russia banning bitcoin can and will cause the trade volume to decrease to levels that would be less then they otherwise would be at. It will probably still have high trading volume because their economy is not stable and bitcoin provides some level of stability to unstable economies (especially when the banking sector in such country is less then certain to survive)
