The miners mine and hold, other mine and sell.

Investors and speculators buy, hold and sell.

You can buy random items in auctions and through the forums.

What are the reasons for the bulk of the bitcoin transfers? I read an article underlying the "dark side" of the internet and TOR network, and they seem to point out that bitcoins are now nearly the exclusive currency for the online "black market" (Note, they are not saying bitcoins are exclusively used for black market transactions)

For us its investing in bitcoin. You just sit and wait for the bitcoin price to go up. We also do trades. As for the blackmarket , people with bad intensions or funny businesses are attracted to bitcoin because it is anonymous or very hard to track. But that is just a newbie talking

Well I don't have one,  but if have I will surely keep it and sell it good price or exchange with a big Mercedes-Benz.
I think the rate by which bitcoins are growing there is ki day left when they will capture our economy and we will enjoy the benefits of tax less transaction..
They r turning our economy and with the keen interest people taking in it, it will surly reach to high levels.
Bitcoin has major advantages, that made it popular.
I will keep it and spend it in fraction rather than on whole.  Best part of bitcoin is you can spend it on fraction and you don't have to spend a whole.

I'm using Bitcoin by paying my monthly bills. It helps me to pay without hassle just by using my cellphone. As you pay it using Bitcoin, it gives you a rebate for every payment you made. You can also use Bitcoin to invest and it's really good opportunity to learn this new type of investment nowadays. 😊
