Not sure what a mod can do, that the police would not do better. The mods are not going to give out any info to anyone but police.

Report the messages, and like Danny said contact the police if you believe them to be genuine or are worried about them, but I'm sure they're just hollow threats and nothing to be worried about.

If they are sending threats via pm's, block them from pm'ing you. If it's posted, then report them, it will be removed but really we can't do anything substantial, you need the police, not a dude from the internet.

I wouldn't worry too much. Now, if the threats get very specific and they get bad, then Id report it to the police, but the police cant do to much except take a report. I know how your feeling, but just keep an open eye and you should be okay..
