Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

USA, USA, USA.  I am fromt he USA.  They say it is the land of the free, but how free are we really.  We do have more freedoms than a number of countries out there, but all of our freedmos are controlled by those of use out there who have money.  To bad, none of them is me.  Sad

Now that we are getting to know all the countries people on here are from, what is the opinion of BTC in your country?  I know here in the USA, people treat it like a currency, however the IRS treats it like it is property or assets.  When they closed that one site, they actually auctioned off all those BTC instead of exchanging them to get top dollar.  You have to wonder!!

If you choose other, say which:

Dude, I am coming from Macedonia and do you think that most of the people know where is this country? Cheesy

Here, let me give you some short introduction about where is Macedonia and what to expect if you plan to visit sometimes in your life... Smiley

The Republic of Macedonia is small and beautiful Southeast European country, south of Serbia and north of Greece and west of Bulgaria. Macedonia is one of the hidden gems of the former republic of Yugoslavia that contains a great cultural, historical – geographical value which offers its visitors a unique blend of natural wonders, traditions and cultures, as well as long tradition of unrivaled hospitality. Macedonia is a natural paradise of mountains, fantastic lakes and rivers, where life moves to a different rhythm, amid the sprawling grandeur of rich historical treasures and idyllic villages that have remained practically unchanged for centuries.
