It's certainly possible that we've bottomed... I certainly do think we are getting pretty close (I mean, Jesus, who would have thought we'd see $300s so soon). That said, looking at the chart, it seems that we still have another leg down to go and I am suspecting that we won't know our bottom until we've had a flash crash on one of the major exchanges. That said, this is probably not the worst place to go bargain hunting for a long-term holder.

Good luck to all.

I think well see 360 on BTC-e for a short bit as the last dump off before some sideways back around 380. $400 generated some much needed wall support that hadn't been around for a few days though.

We have blood in the streets but we need all but the strong hands to start crying first Smiley
$360 sounds like a good bottom value.

The pressure on down side is still quite heavy due to cooperate mining farms. Unless there are big whales come along to buy and remove a few thousands btc from circulation, downtrend will continue.

And don't forget all the new coin IPOs still waiting to liquidate their position.

You were right about it wanking around 400$ for a few hours. What do you think will happen later today?

I don't claim to be any sort of trader pro, this is just a common sense observation. With it dropping into the 300 range over this weekend, I'd expect bright and early Monday morning for some serious panic selling to happen and it'll probably get to mid 200s before that big buy back in surge hits and hits hard. I think the fluctuation in the 300-400 range is temporary and most people would prefer it to drop into the 100-200 range to pick up hella deals on bitcoin. Sure, 300 is great compared to 600 but 100 is insanely better than all of them. If it went below 100, I think that would scare some long timers more than not and "shake loose" the nervous long term holders. It's better to pick up 3 btc at 100 each than 1 btc at 300, right...so this is like the calm before the storm Cheesy

But then it's going to reverse as things always will and the ride back up will be enormous fun!

It hit 365...and now in the 370s.

I think it's going to continue down.
