I have 7 confirmations but no coins in my wallet what could cause this?
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

where is the wallet?? as we cant help if you give no details,

by you talking about 7confirms, i presume you put funds into an exchange which normall ask for 6. i say this as funds would appear instantly if a wallet program/blockchain.info were to be the recipient service (they would appear but just be marked as unconfirmed)

some exchanges are really slow. many have noted that mintpal and cryptsy are slow, even upto.

normally best to go to the IRC chat channel of the service provider that your 'wallet' / address is held in

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Maybe they sent to wrong address  Huh
If you use blockchain.info wallet, sometimes the wallet showing zero bitcoin bug.
Try to log out & log in again  Smiley

Or you can change to another online wallet (Hive, Green Address, etc.)

Did you, or the sender use "Shared Send"? If so, then the coins are likely hung up in the "Shared Send" process somewhere, it happens. All that needs to be done is go into the "Shared Send" part of the wallet that the coins were sent from and on the bottom of the page there should be a place where you can click undo or recover or something like that.

Giving you a balance of 0

That looks like a Shared Send transaction to me. Do what I said previously and I bet you get your coins back.
