I think it's not hiding your money, but rather hiding your spending habits.

If I use fiat, nobody really knows, what I spend it on, so why MUST they know, what I do with my digital currency?

We do not even know, how much of our daily use of credit and debit cards are being monitored, to determine our spending habits. This information is sold to people, who target you specifically based on what you bought over a specific time.

Are we as crypto currency users not entitled to the same privacy, in comparison to every other person on this planet, using normal fiat currency?
