SOLOMININGWe are open again, we have an automated payment system, coins will not be more than 30 seconds in the pool to avoid hacking, then sent to the address of the user name, it is checked before mine that is a valid address where you receive coins , no registration is required and anonymous access, the commission rate is now a percentage of 0.5%, now is posible mine Bitcoin, Litecoin, Peercoin and Darkcoin, the idea is find the jackpot lottery. The data connection are on the page.

I've been solo mining for btc on your pool with no problems using my asicminer tubes. Tried to change to mining peercoin this evening and had no end of problems with pretty much all invalid shares. Tried different difficulties but still no joy, any ideas?
Is strange, I'm testing with an old version of cgminer as 3.1.1 and no problems, if there is an error in the PPC address will not let you begin, what's your user address? View user PEYA has over 1 TH in PPC with any invalid share, that makes me think that the bug is on your side. We also have this specific thread for Alts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=790195.0Thanks for your reply. The PPC address I'm using is PPjNz6hwi3jsjgKS9NykLueHBanAG581At I've just pointed one of my tubes there again and its starting and stopping mining so struggling with something. Stats on your site show 0% efficiency , 0 hashrate and all invalid shares. The address is on Crypsty exchange, the btc address I was using to solo mine your pool was on Bittrex exchange if that makes any difference. EDIT: On occasion it starts to mine but not at full speed. I know some btc pools don't like the asicminer tubes for some reason, they work fine on your btc pool so thought the ppc one would be too.

Ok thank you I have done some tests without much success, I tried to mine your address cryptsy and it worked fine without any problems, then I looked to upgrade the version of the daemon of PPC but we are in 0.4.0 for developers is the last one have been published. Let's do a test, try connecting two separate pools, one operates under NOMP and the other is another system, so let's see if discarding possibilities. I've registered for the NOMP pool, still awaiting email to verify. I was already a member of the No NOMP pool and have pointed one of my tubes there. Early indications are that its mining perfectly, hash rate is perfect and no stale or rejected shares. Hardware errors 0.08% which is about normal. Looks like tubes prefer No NOMP. EDIT: Tube has started to become unstable, stopping mining and then starting again with 15% rejected / other. Its seems a bit more stable than your pool but not great.

I've posted a quote below from WBF1's asicminer tube owners thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=768500.0Pool Compatibility
Works out of the box with:
- ghash.io - Slush's pool (mining.bitcoin.cz) - Bitcoin Affiliate Network (mining.bitcoinaffiliatenetwork.com) - mmpool.org - BTC Guild (using stratum-lb-usa48.btcguild.com:3333 to connect)
Other pools may need to use a proxy. Tbh I was going to mine your ppc pool just to see if I can find a block, its been such a long time since I've solved a block of anything

We had a problem this morning with the line VDSL router first has burned a second time during the night, I've replaced and discover sadly the ONO provider has changed the static IP on the other, the dissemination of new ip it may take some time minutes, meanwhile you can connect via the new IP is 81.61.162.38 directly replaces the domain solomining.com so much to see the web as to connect the miner, for example:
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://81.61.162.38:3334 -u 1KWoCHj4eX7Tc2ZfqgCzR5TwUg3BJnfsVg00 -p x
Apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your confidence in this project.

I might try Litecoin solomining with 300Mhs soon!
is it enough power to find an LTC block?
what about valid shares are they paid if no block is found?
Thanks and very petty UI on your site!

Any HashRate gives you the option of finding a block, but with more HashRate increase your odds. The shares are not paid in this pool, only receives the reward if you find the block and you get all the reward for you least 0.5% of fees.

Out of interest do you know what the best share values were roughly for those ppc blocks? Best I've had was about 3.4 million mining last few days off and on with a pair of S1's. Also what miner / hardware are you using? My tubes really don't like solo ppc mining here .

Anyway I do not think is the solution to your problem, as sure would work installing a proxy between the miner and the pool.

Thank and congratulate all those who have won today.
There has been a small cut of seconds, there is nothing I like less to cut the service but I detected users putting 100% of invalid shares, first they did with DRK and statistics have dropped to 61% and this time I've seen one on trying to BTC, I had to change the time of ban from 10 minutes to an hour for those who send more than 50% of invalid shares.

When the new litecoin block will be at our wallet? That depends on what the network Litecoin takes to confirm the new block is not something the pool, in PPC usually two or three days in LTC if you look at the history of past blocks usually four hours and thirty minutes. So it should be confirmed and paid within about an hour.

You mean that I mining one day for nothing?..,,? ..... Yes buddy its solo mining. You only get paid if your miner finds a block, but you get the whole block reward minus the pool commission. Its different to pool mining where you get small shares when anyone finds a block. Its a gamble, either you get a good reward or nothing.

My miners are LZz problem is they are different rented rigs with different speeds so I have tried the various difficulties with each rig to see what gives the lowest rejection rate and 99.8% is about the best I can get. Sorry about that.

My miners are LZz problem is they are different rented rigs with different speeds so I have tried the various difficulties with each rig to see what gives the lowest rejection rate and 99.8% is about the best I can get. Sorry about that. In the case of different rigs is important not to group them all within a single user, in your case if they are in the cloud is more difficult but try each miner has its own username. If you need to create temporary wallets you can use a web application, do not use them as regular wallets but if temporary, is laborious but it is the way to reduce the rejected shares. Then you can import the private key if you ever have found a block. http://www.solomining.com/mining_key

I have (4) A2 Terminator rigs (88Mh/s ea) -- so should I have them go to (4) different LTC wallets? Or lump them all together?
I'm getting 100% efficiency typically - but didn't know if there was an advantage to having them work separately?

If all are of the same hashrate and are not having any problems leave it in a single user. The problems come when together two miners with different hashrates under the same difficulty. By the way, another block for LZz...

Updated, is for LfH... Sorry the delay but this part of the site is still manual, I'm working on this, anyway another time you can see looking at the transactions exit the pool wallet. http://block-explorer.com/address/LN5EkUJ43EkPh9N2Vmhz664zhS35WoPWumRecommendation; you can open solomining.com at work, no one will understand that it is and you can tell you are investing in the stock market

Now, is for PCsg... God, this was thinked to find a block a day at most, now with multiple blocks at once is horrible. The problem is that the database does not provide the information as I like remaining on the web, so I format by hand, but is not viable. If there is any inconsistency in the list of payments, this would not affect a payment system that is if automatic, if anyone has any questions I have no problem teaching the database. EDIT: I release the source code of the payment system on github, rest assured that payment goes to the miner to find the correct hash. https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal/issues/406#issuecomment-64398794

Yes, yes, I am modifying the code to do it, but as the development team is myself and no one else takes me too long. Much of the code took me more work than this, just the graphics are updated separately alone I take a lot of work. I put a list of outstanding things for improvement: - Create an API to the list of payments
- Change of fixed diff to vardiff ports connection (easy change)
- Make the user list is sortable and discriminable (50%completed)
- Add the calculation of luck in the pool statistics
- Other interesting things you can think of

It sounds like you have some good extra features planned . Its a shame you have to do this yourself but it looks and sounds like you already know what you're doing. What about letting people register with an email address so you can send them details of when a block is found and by who. Again hopefully that could be automated.

Ok after 20 minutes or so my results show Antminer S4 recommended diff. 2048 was running on new vardiff at -50% speed so have changed back to recommended 2048.
2 x slower litecoin miners working fine on vardiff and at full speed, 2 knc titans with recommended diff. 8192 barely working so have switched back to 8192.
They were all showing 100% accepted shares using vardiff.

If it works well, it's just like I'm making changes prefer that people are warned. The worst thing that can happen is have to execute a payment manually. I want to put everything to the test before finding a block of BTC, there if I can not admit mistakes...

I want to put everything to the test before finding a block of BTC, there if I can not admit mistakes... Ok that's good thank you . Yes it would be good if it was automatic and saved you some work .

Indeed, as the above changes failed I'm testing other changes, hence the warning, now the changes have worked and have not withheld payments, that is a good step forward. I updated and sent emails now. With a little more patience in the end everything stay perfect, there is still some time until there is a block of BTC. By the way tonight 150TH entered in BTC but was unlucky not to take anything. Capture of the early days of pool. Fully static, you need to press F5 to refresh and payments were entirely manual.

Excellent well done. Thats a good improvement . Just out of interest how can you tell which address finds the block? if (isValidBlock){ redisCommands.push(['hincrbyfloat', coin + ':shares:round' + shareData.height, shareData.worker, shareData.difficulty]); redisCommands.push(['sadd', coin + ':blocksPending', [shareData.blockHash, shareData.txHash, shareData.height].join(':')]); redisCommands.push(['hincrby', coin + ':stats', 'validBlocks', 1]); }
That is the source code that records the user has found the block in the database. shareData.worker It is the user who has delivered the valid share that matches the block.

Yeah luck is bad right now, hopefully it will come back . Finally, another block of LTC, was a bit scared. This confirms that the mailing list works 100% automated. The new way of working is the following, to know who has found the block it will be announced only by mail until the block is confirmed and appears in the list of payments.

Looks like there's a litecoin block pending but haven't had an email, is the notification system working ok?
If it works well, the problem is this, email needs an administrator approval for all the emails sent to list@solomining.com by anyone can not be automatically distributed to subscribers. At that time I was sleeping, so my email confirmation pending stayed there, maybe I should find a trusted partner that covers the time zone where I'm sleeping. Do you offer volunteer?

I don't think the delay really matters to be honest, just thought I'd post the question because I thought it was automated and noticed the pending block. Yes I'm more than happy to volunteer, I'm in the UK so if our time zones are different and it helps you out then let me know what I have to do .

Thanks for offering, first let me try something I just thought, I made the list administrator the same account of pool notification blockfound@solomining.com, you may thereby to be sent from an administrator account does not need the approval

If we are commenting on the specific thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=767261.msg10186005#msg10186005I'm a little stressed until confirmed and paid correctly, LTC takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes, the confirmation of the blocks is twice as fast as in BTC so I guess it can take 8 hours 40 minutes?

The solution to the problem is as follows, total elimination of the ports Diff fixed, now there VarDiff only two input ports, one for small miners (VarDiff 1) and one for large mininers (VarDiff 1024), yet still there people who are putting 60 TH in VarDiff 1 ... Anyway a few minutes after the pool go up the diff and solves the problem, and not think by the user or do calculations or tables, I hope the new system reviews.
A detail if you search in google "solomining" we left the first position at first we were on the second page. Thank you all.

I love this pool. I run a couple of Antminer U2s as a bit of lottery fun and Bitsolo.net barely gives them work. Its down a lot too. I've only been on solomining.com for an hour and have already had >1000 shares accepted which is about as many as I'd get in a whole day on bitsolo.net. Fingers crossed for the jackpot! We're off on honeymoon next weekend and it sure would be nice to have an extra bit of spending money

About Litecoin block today, has been 'kicked' which is some form of rejection by the network, here an explanation of the three forms of rejection, two are indistinct and so he covers the developer in that category. https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal/issues/138#issuecomment-42396180I have checked and neither the hash appears in the network or the transaction, all I can contribute is a snapshot of the database which is registered as 'kicked' It seem necessary to send an email when a block is 'kicked' or orphan? I love this pool.
Thank you for your enthusiasm, comments like this motivates keep running this project.

Thanks for the update aTg I've never heard of 'kicked' before, oh well never mind you win some you lose some eh . Kicked is a definition of NOMP programmer for the network is orphaned or stale, but the daemon sometimes gives ambiguous answers and not clearly seen to be orphaned because they dont appear anywhere, which is the case. May be necessary to report this to an email notification?

I have start mining Darkcoin with that commands. But SoloMining website said I just get invalid shares. Please help me Hi, I've just looked at some of my old mining software when I was using cpu / gpu and I think your command line / start.bat file should go more like this: minerd.exe -a X11 -o pool url:port -u username (or darkcoin wallet address in this case) -p password --threads 2 (number of threads you want to use from your cpu 1-?) So in your case I think it should be: minerd.exe -a X11 -o stratum+tcp://solomining.com:61024 -u Xmb1Y4oqhdJ5JAmN5S5XTc2ttRdRUhZgX6 -p 12345678 --threads 1 ? Change the threads number to how many cores you want to use on your processor. I wouldn't recommend using them all and make sure you keep an eye on your cpu temperature to make sure its not overheating. You might also be best to try port 6334 instead of 61024.

My email notifications are definitely not working. Another block found earlier today and I didn't get the email. EDIT: Got that email in the end a few hours late but just got an email for a new block found immediately

Anyone else having problems with email notifications? The last two blocks has not reached my email but I have proof that other subscribers if, must be mail servers.

It seems that going from 50 users the server consumes 4 GB of RAM and starts to fail, during this day will increase the maximum ram and see if this fixes the problem.

Hey aTg are you testing another stats feature? Yes, I'm at it, forgive me to do tests on the fly, I will continue working tomorrow, today I haven't a productive day, I put a small explanation of the column of shares that may soon disappear, these are the shares sent in last 5 minutes converted to diff1, the data is not very useful and I want replace soon.

You could connect without problems? Good rate of rejections?

What on earth is wrong with people doing this . Have you looked at cloudflare or something to block DDos attacks? I suppose it will depend on cost whether its worth doing.

Indeed, with the pool have practically zero profits, any spending by service anti DDoS assumed lost. I think that this is some operation against Darkcoin for its opacity not think it's something only against this pool.

If it's okay I'd like to request a feature? Either a page or a column that displays the addresses of the users that have solved blocks, as you have to wait until payout to see if you've found anything. Just a live/current list of the last 50 found blocks would be fine. Thanks!

Block finders addresses are found here: http://solomining.com/payouts but the list isn't automatic as its updated manually by aTg. If you subscribe to the mailing list by sending an empty email to the following email address: list-subscribe@solomining.com then you will be notified by email whenever a block is found and that notification also tells you the mining address that found the block.

I just thought it would be easier to check on the main site as opposed to checking email etc. But that's fine, It's not difficult to check email I suppose. I appreciate the quick reply, Thanks!

hedgy73 thanks for keeping the thread, lately I have not had time to respond or to work in the pool, I'm thinking to completely renovate the pool basing on the software CK for that reason no news lately. This decision will not like some of you because it is possible that the version for Alt's He stayed as is and developments are concentreen in version for Bitcoin. Sorry but it is not profitable to spend efforts to Alt's.

I'm sure people will still mine on your pool whatever you choose to do and it's understandable if you choose to cut back with the costs involved. It would however be a shame to lose the alts as your pool is the best solo mining pool that I know for mining litecoin, peercoin and darkcoin (even though darkcoin is suspended at the moment). EDIT: Why don't you increase your fee up from 0.5% (which is nothing) to help towards the running cost. I certainly wouldn't mind it being higher to something like 5-10% and I'm sure others would feel the same if it meant you were able to keep the alt sections.

I agree and I think most people mine alts rather than BTC on your pool don't they? I'd be happy to pay a little extra to keep the alt pools up

I'm assuming if you do it manually (Payouts) that they won't be affected by the downtime/maintenance? Also if you do shut down Alt mining, Would it be possible to get a copy of the pool code for the Alts (If it's open-source) and I'll try to create a pool just for solo mining alts. Thanks!

Of course payments will be effective once confirmed, the pool will be active until the blocks are confirmed though not accessible from the internet. The code you have it on https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal/, maybe back in line for a version of pool Alts as the current and the new version will only affect Bitcoin, but it is not safe.
