What on earth is wrong with people doing this . Have you looked at cloudflare or something to block DDos attacks? I suppose it will depend on cost whether its worth doing.

Indeed, with the pool have practically zero profits, any spending by service anti DDoS assumed lost. I think that this is some operation against Darkcoin for its opacity not think it's something only against this pool.

If it's okay I'd like to request a feature? Either a page or a column that displays the addresses of the users that have solved blocks, as you have to wait until payout to see if you've found anything. Just a live/current list of the last 50 found blocks would be fine. Thanks!

Block finders addresses are found here: http://solomining.com/payouts but the list isn't automatic as its updated manually by aTg. If you subscribe to the mailing list by sending an empty email to the following email address: list-subscribe@solomining.com then you will be notified by email whenever a block is found and that notification also tells you the mining address that found the block.

Right okay, Is it possible to make it automatic or is that something he's currently working on? I just thought it would be easier to check on the main site as opposed to checking email etc. But that's fine, It's not difficult to check email I suppose. I appreciate the quick reply, Thanks!

hedgy73 thanks for keeping the thread, lately I have not had time to respond or to work in the pool, I'm thinking to completely renovate the pool basing on the software CK for that reason no news lately. This decision will not like some of you because it is possible that the version for Alt's He stayed as is and developments are concentreen in version for Bitcoin. Sorry but it is not profitable to spend efforts to Alt's.

Sorry but it is not profitable to spend efforts to Alt's. You're welcome buddy it's the least I can do . I'm sure people will still mine on your pool whatever you choose to do and it's understandable if you choose to cut back with the costs involved. It would however be a shame to lose the alts as your pool is the best solo mining pool that I know for mining litecoin, peercoin and darkcoin (even though darkcoin is suspended at the moment). EDIT: Why don't you increase your fee up from 0.5% (which is nothing) to help towards the running cost. I certainly wouldn't mind it being higher to something like 5-10% and I'm sure others would feel the same if it meant you were able to keep the alt sections.

I agree and I think most people mine alts rather than BTC on your pool don't they? I'd be happy to pay a little extra to keep the alt pools up

Hi all, why PPC no payout? Peercoin blocks take a few days to confirm.
