Got my black solo set a few days back... they sound pretty good! I've never used a "real" pair of them before, so I don't have a good point of comparison, but they do sound good and look exactly like they do in the OP's picture.

Not addicted to bass?  I'm just one of those rare birds who prefers quality over peak loudness. I have 2 JL 12" subwoofers in my truck. That should tell you something I like bass, it just has to be clean. The bass on these is set too high for in-earphones in my opinion. It sounded like it was pushing the brink of distortion and was hurting my ears (but that's how the retail version is too, so that takes nothing from the quality of these "knockoffs"). I honestly like the look more than anything, but I am pleased with the over all quality. Would I ever pay full retail for the Tours? Heck no. Which makes this thread the perfect fit. Thanks again. left you feedback in the thread you requested. Perhaps you can do the same. |

Yes, they shouldn't be valued at what monster sells them for, thats why they make fakes I bet the "fake" ones are even made in the same factory as the "real" ones, or perhaps next door. Monster stuff is a rip-off, and they get away with some serious overcharging. |
