Raganius Escrow Service I would like to let the community know that I am offering my services as escrow. My goal is to help the fair progress of the cryptocurrencies, and I have noticed that, more and more, there is an increasing number scam cases. The service by a escrow aims exactly to provide safety to the parties involved in a transaction. There are already some escrow services being offered in our community, and it is very important to have as many of these services as possible, for the variety will always contribute to make the community safer, and consequently, stronger. The parties should always be free to choose the escrow that better suits their needs and, most important, they should be able to chose the one that they trust the most. And here is where the variety makes the difference. So, I have the intention to serve those who already know and trust me. Because TRUST is the main concern here, and it is always to be respected. For this work, I charge 1% (one percent) fee per month. If you are interested in my service, please post below and also send me a PM. I remain at your disposal. Thank you.

So, I have the intention to serve those who already know and trust me. Because TRUST is the main concern here, and it is always to be respected.
You should do some trades with those that 'know and trust' you first because at the moment you have zero feedback/trust to offer escrow services publicly. As you said, trust is the main concern, but nobody has any reason to trust you so using you an escrow is pointless.

And as I have already said in the introductory post, I intend to serve those who trust me. I would always advise people to choose the escrow they have trust on. If someone eventualy does not trust me, I want this person to be free to choose whomever they find more convenient. A solid reputation is only built with time, and I am not in a hurry. Thank you.

It takes more to be an escrow than merely the desire to help the community With all due respect, you would need to clock many many acts of escrow with many different participants on this forum before I would even consider using you All the best building up your rep

Any reason why anyone should use your service for a 1% fee when there are already more establish members doing it free?
Your current background does not have the credentials to be an escrow. Being an escrow will take more than just an announcement. Recently someone scammed me over 2btc when the rate was ~$600/btc. And guess what... he was an escrow.

Last that I'll mention about this since I don't want to derail this thread, but here is the escrow list, and here is his profile. This does prove my point that anyone can claim themselves to be an escrow, but this says nothing to their actual trustworthiness. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=124662PS - my feedback won't put anyone in the red, hence I don't bother until the trust system is fixed. He's already put in red by someone else though.

Why the hell was he put (and still is) on there when he's done zero escrows here and all his other feedbacks are for loans? But that's also why you should do your own research on these people and make your own mind up. I wouldn't trust any 'escrow' without evidence of many previous trades and have previously held on to more money than I was trusting them with. And whilst your feedback may not 'put someone in the red' it's still valuable and you're likely to get put on the trusted list the more valid and warranted feedback you leave.

Thank you all for the posts. Indeed, it's a shame that escrow services are needed, and even worse if there are cases of escrow scammers. It would be great if people valued their own honour. But sometimes it is really hard to understand the human mind.
As I have said before, at first I am willing to serve those who already know and trust me. Some users in this community do know me in real life, and I believe they trust me and are going to be my first "clients" in case they need it. If, with time, my services are poven to be of good quality, I hope my reputation will be good enough for more people to trust me. But I agree that no one should simply trust anyone else based simply on beautiful words. That's the reality of our world, unfortunately. In relation to fees: I see nothing wrong in charging (and earning) for a service. Actually I am against any kind of "mandatory free workers". IF there are people in the market offering their work for free, good for them, but it should be considered as donation of work (anyone is free to donate anything to anyone else), and I hope their free work has got enough quality. The escrow service involves responsibility and reputation: that, as any other kind of work, demands quality, and it all has got a price IMHO. He doesn't have as much trust to hold on but I guess he'd be okay. Good luck don't do anything stupid Thank you

Raganius is the escrow for the Animecoin Community CrowdFunding
Thank you
A solid reputation is only built with time, and I am not in a hurry.
Thank you.
Creating multiple accounts to Vouch for yourself as an escrow is the first sign that you are dishonest. Claiming that you are offering this unproven service for "the good of the community" is pure bullshit! We are all capitalists for profit. I ask 2%, but I also hope my customers buy some other service from me. My services are an advertisement for my other services. Also using the same out of place "Thank you" after a double break from 2 different accounts really gives you away as the same author. Sorry to tell you that there are too many other Escrow people in-forum for you with no rep to make it. I am not an Escrow in-forum.
