Out of the entire Bitcointalk sections, this one "Alternate cryptocurrencies" has the absolute most drama.
The below trolls and fanboys hold incredible power in the Altcoin section in order of each's power and achievements, with each having done remarkable work respectively.
1) darkota, a fanboy, practically singlehandedly destroyed Litecoin with his, " Litecoin is Officially Dead", thread and assumed constant ltc selling, his list of achievements are from previously derailing Darkcoin and Bytecoin, to obliterating Litecoin's price. Litecoin dropped a whooping 80%+ of it's price from a few months ago due to darkota
2) Come-From-Above a troll, has been known to rail on NEM(and practically any other coin as well), especially when their developer was accused of scamming, subsequently leading to a large drop in NEM's price, his list of achievements are extreme, sometimes comedic trolling. NEM dropped a whooping 40%+ due to ~CfA~ .
3) Moneroman88, a fake fanboy and troll, pretty much started the whole BCX vs Monero/Cryptonote Fiasco, he has multiple threads barking on BCX and literally everyone/everything else besides the coin he's trolling, Monero. His remarkable use of trolling has led to a large drop in Monero's price recently. Monero dropped 30% of it's price indirectly due to Moneroman88, but directly due to BCX, so technically it was BCX that caused the drop, but Moneroman88 led up to it.
4) digitalindustry a troll, is a Quark supporter from the get go, and has even been outcast by his own(Quark) community, his list of achievements range from constant trolling to attempted scams using Quarkcoin
5) Spoetnik a fanboy, is similar to digitalindustry in writing structure, is a long standing member of the bitcointalk community, his list of achievements range from constant trolling to attempting to eradicate scamcoins in his group, "Operation Shitcoin Cleanout"
This is what I've observed being an outside member(recently joining Bitcointalk)
*The List will be updated frequently*
