my expectations, bitcoin currency can become a trend in the future, with all the advantages it has, which is clearly in operating it, we need an internet connection, and of course a large power reserve, if the power supply from the government to crash, bitcoin has code- code that is unique in delivery and acceptance, so that bitcoin is free from the various taxes that the government set ...

Bitcoin is only a tool. Political power is what determined the trend of society.

I don't think so, it's more likely a reference to bank cards, which people now use instead of cash (and operate through encoded account numbers). In my view it means that P2P commerce has been eliminated and all transactions are mediated and approved by the 'authorities'. Probably no reference to crypto codes. Bitcoin functions more like cash. Great movie, though. And strangely predictive. The script was based on Huxley's 'A Brave New World' is my understanding.

I've read Brave New World, they're nothing alike buddy From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demolition_Man_%28film%29"Some aspects of the film allude to Aldous Huxley's dystopian novel, Brave New World." "based on" is a poor choice of words. I've read parts of the book. We might replace Fordism with Zuckism. Facebook doesn't just enable people to connect with each other, it mediates and organizes the communications in ways that influence behavior. The result is a kind of enforced conformity which results in massive profits for a very few, and poverty for everyone else (that's the whole point of the design of the system). This alludes to the world depicted in the movie, where an invisible starving population lives underneath an affluent and secure one. My point is that it is the rebels living underground who would be the ones who would use bitcoin. And it would be outlawed, of course. The DarkWallet project is a case in point. I think the devs see themselves as being part of a rebellion.

You're asking whether a film that came out in 1993 has a bitcoin reference in it? No.

Demolition Man is a crap movie if memory serves My recollection is that the form of money the movie was referencing was not peer to peer but via a centralised, omniscient system

You did not need to be a genies in 1993 to understand that future money will be transacted electronically.

Since it was a "future" movie, it just referred to that money will be exchanged through computers, so in a way, yes!

More like a reference to atm machines and electronic bank account activities like deposits and transfers via atm.
