Have you been paying attention to all the changes that Obama has been making in the US Military? I mean beyond all the political grandstanding and doing stupid things like locking the chaplains out of their posts during the government shut down (for which a Catholic priest in now suing the president). It seems that Obama has been engaged in his own private ‘purge’ of generals and other leaders at the very top of the US Military.
http://www.frontpagemag.com/2013/arnold-ahlert/obamas-military-purge/

On October 12th, this story was even noticed by Dianne Sawyer of ABC News. You see, there have 9 top level military leaders and commanders fired or relieved of duty since April. Is Obama preparing things for some sort of big event? Nine top-level generals and commanders could definitely be considered a purge of sorts. Perhaps Obama is thinking about some options that the majority of Americans would be loathe to even consider? Several Pentagon Officials have been trying to warn the people to expect radical changes very soon. The Chinese are also thinking about getting out of the dollar and forming their own currency alliance. There is even the strong potential for 16 US States being shut down and handed over to the federal government due to such high levels of debt. Could martial law be coming?

There have also been reports that seem to indicate Obama has a litmus test for military officers these days. Apparently, he only wants officers who do not have trouble firing on US citizens. Several of these now retired officers have come forward and said that they think Obama is preparing for war against the US. We have also heard Obama himself talk about ‘My Military.’ Whatever you think might be happening, it is certainly clear that Obama is looking to change and move things in a different direction.

By the way, these 9 top military officers and commanders were this that Obama has fired or replaced or relieved from duty just in 2013. It does not include a rather long list of those who were also relieved of duty last year (and the year before that). Even Dianne Sawyer felt that this is bizarre and wanted to try and get to the bottom of it.

Take a look at some of the nine who have been fired or relived of duty. General Carter Hamm, US Army, served as the head of the US African Command and in charge during the Benghazzi incident. After being extremely critical of Obama (calling him a liar about reinforcements in the area), he was ‘resigned and retired’ in April. Rear Admiral Charles Gaouette, US Navy, Commander of Carrier Strike Group Three was in charge of aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean Sea on the night of September 11, 2012. He was fired and relieved of duty for ‘utterance of a racial slur.’ And there are plenty more examples, all within the year.

This is an incredibly alarming series of events. It is one of the largest and fastest purges of military commanders that has ever been recorded. These ‘purges’ even included two heads of nuclear strategic commands. This has even made veteran reporter Dianne Sawyer step up and public ask what is the next step that Obama is planning. This is something that every American should be asking themselves as we watch the evidence of what is happening.

What do YOU think? What is the reason for this purge of the military? Can the firing or relieving of duty of 9 top-level generals and admirals this quickly be considered a mere coincidence? What do you think Obama is planning? Why does he want to remake the military to HIS liking? Will the military some day be called upon to fire on US citizens?

The military is getting too bloated and too expensive to maintain.

If it is up to me, I will cut the military spending by half over the course of 8 years.

because;  he gets to name their replacements.  There's been a buzz going around since 2012 that he's really afraid of a military coup

As a nation, we can afford bouts of economic downturns, civil strife and even some degree of political mistrust of our leaders. A nation can take definitive steps to recover these maladies. However, the one thing that America cannot tolerate is the compromising of our military, and since Obama has been president, the effectiveness of our military has been greatly compromised as witnessed by the firing of 200+ command level officers.

That's the excuse he gave. People were expected to buy the 'slimming down' the military line.

No one is fooled anymore. It was basically to hide the true agenda - that being obama wants to mess with the system and shape it to his liking, and his likings are strongly anti american, much of that from a racial bias. He hates the origins of america with racial attitude, and now everyone can't stand the little fool boy trying to play at being a leader at anything. As a minority, you can easily tell when he's lying or putting up a front. He thinks he can shuck and jive. No one is fooled.

He can 'fire' people. He can try all he wants to manipulate things and lie about not messing with people to everyone including in his own attitudes. No one will even lend a ear if people break into his hotel room next time.

Furthermore, his administration is slowly draining itself of real talents, if not already completely absent of any kind of competence. Obama basically throws tantrums disguised as authority or moral ground, and people are no longer taking him seriously. Foreign powers certainly do not - they know he is impotent when faced with people who couldn't give any less of a fuck about things he thinks are 'weapons' - racial moral hostage attitude, manipulation and word play on law, hiding behind the rank of oval office and trying to mess with people while thinking he's being clever. As if anyone doesn't know what he's doing.

A Crisis of Military Leadership

The number of generals either drummed out of the service or forced into early retirement since Obama took office is growing by the month. Untruthful pretexts have been manufactured by the Obama administration to usher out many of our top military commanders. Many of these generals were among our most effective and experienced military leaders. Almost all of these generals are being replaced by men with less military experience and this fact alone leads to a less effective military.

This unprecedented parade of musical chairs, being played out against our military leaders, began when Obama demanded the resignation of General McKiernan. This marked the first time, since the time of the Korean War when General Douglas MacArthur was fired by President Truman in a disagreement over strategy, that a battlefield general was fired by a president. The strategy backfired in Korea and it backfired in Afghanistan as McKiernan was deemed to be to old school to suit Obama. He was old school to Obama because he wanted to kill the enemy while minimizing American losses. Obama wanted to adopt a policy which allowed the enemy to open fire first which, before Americans could return fire. This has surely caused the casualty rate to rise.

After he was fired, McKiernan challenged Obama’s impotent leadership by stating that “I don’t understand ever putting your men and women in harm’s way, without their having the full ability to protect themselves. That also means operating on actionable intelligence to defeat insurgents, and protect your forces. That’s how you keep your soldiers alive.” Obama apparently does not care how many soldiers get to come back home to their families.

Following McKiernan, Obama appointed Stanley McChrystal. But very soon, the new general grew weary of forcing his troops to accept fire before shooting back for fear of offending the Afghans. McChrystal later claimed that he had presented a plan to Obama for defeating the Afghan resistance, but Obama continued to promote rules of engagement which served to make the Americans a less effective fighting force. The relationship between McChrystal and Obama became strained and McChrystal was fired over a negative Rolling Stone article, written by Michael Hastings, that revealed that McChrystal had become disgusted with Obama. Petraeus replaced McChrystal who was in-turn quickly replaced by General Allen who then became entrapped in the same scandal, and the confirmation of General Dunford had to be rushed through and subsequently completed in record time. Count them, Obama has gone through four generals and is now on his fifth battlefield commander. His firing of two-four star generals is unprecedented in American History. This is what Stalin did when he assumed the dictatorship of Russia and it almost cost the Russians victory in WWII. The war in Afghanistan is lost thanks to Obama.

General Mattis, the Commander of Central Command offended several administration personnel and was fired on the spot. Admiral Gayoutte, the former commander of Carrier Task Force Three, operating in the Gulf, was fired last fall. General Hamm, the former commander of AFRICOM was fired last fall as well. Gayoutte and Hamm both tried to launch a coordinated rescue mission designed to save the life of Ambassador Stevens in Libya. Both leaders were refusing to follow a Presidential order, delivered through Leon Panetta, to stand down with regard to the Stevens affair. Both men were arrested prior to dispatching the rescue troops.

To this point, we may just have a case of gross incompetence. Yet, aren’t we supposed to fighting al-Qaeda? According to our government, did al-Qaeda plan and carry out the attacks of 9/11? Then why are we supporting al-Qaeda in Libya and Syria? Treason of stupidity?

When the leadership of the military is greatly compromised, it cannot help but to weaken the fighting effectiveness of our troops. There is more, but suffice it to say that Obama goes through senior military leaders more times than he changes his underwear.
The Air Force Crisis

Air Force combat pilots are leaving the Air Force at an alarming rate and, as such, this has constituted an emergency. The USAF is now offering bonuses that amount to several hundred thousand dollars in a desperate attempt to retain their services. The pilots cite the low pay (Obama just slashed Congressionally approved pay raises by over half), being overworked and the ability to find more lucrative employment in the private sector.

They don't make enough to begin with and he is slashing raises?

I've received a lot of emails about officers who believe they might need to stage a coup and take over omaba by force.  I would trust the military over omaba.  I don't believe they would keep the authority, only long enough for us to get a good replacement.  Which doesn't mean Biden.  I hope, even with the sacking of top officers, the military will end up taking charge if necessary.

Obama is still disallowing troops on the ground except for training Iraqis and absolutely no combat.  But the new general in charge does say that if the US is threatened, he will go back to the pres and ask again for ground troops.  I believe we are already threatened, and so is the whole damn world.  From where I sit, it looks as though Obama is doing everything he can to let ISIS win.  I know he promised no more troops in the middle east, but he promised a lot of things that he has reneged on.  Why doesn't he renege on this?

Yes!  But only in our dreams.  I do wish someone or some unit of people had the guts to usurp the presidency for a period of time, until the peoples can vote for someone new.  Turkey used to anyway, when things got bad with the terrorists, go under martial law and when the threat diminished, gave it over to the regular government.  It was what the people wanted.  They wanted martial law.  It would only work if the military commanders were trustworthy enough to give command back to civilians. Do you think that our military would do that?

Why those cruel and heartless bastards!

What do they think they are doing, not being properly empathetic and sensitive to the feelings of a child?  He might throw tantrums.

I'm shocked at this, shocked!

No, I don't think our military would ever stage a coup, unless the Constitution were put aside and habeas corpus totally suspended-----  of course Lincoln got away with it, didn't he?  I sure as hell have more respect and trust in our military than the bunch of communists who are running things now.

Taken alone, it would be easy to dismiss those stories as “coincidences”.  But when you put them together with the stories of dozens of other high ranking military officers that have been purged from the U.S. military in recent years, a very disturbing pattern emerges.
The following is a list of high ranking military officers that have been dismissed over the past few years that has been circulating all over the Internet.  I think that you will agree that this list is quite stunning…

I've read articles that have talked about how some of the cuts are due to sequestration....meeting the bottom line meets cutting those who are paid more.

I'm pretty damned sure that there are enough pencil pushers that could be eliminated to make ends meet.

You do realize that the Iraqi army laid done their weapons and went home because they didn't have any combat officers-- just a bunch of political appointees from Malaiki that the military didn't trust in a fire fight.  We are headed to the same place.
