Well due to AP being one of the top payment processors for Ponzi/Hyip's, Autosurfs, MLM and many other types of online money making opportunities, i think they finally decided (or were forced) to stop serving the needs of these types of programs which most probably landed them in some hot water. Hence the re-brand and re-launch to help put its questionable past behind them.

Yes they did have their VISA, AMEX and MASTERCARD processing halted for a while, but they did managed to get it back on track
and its been working fine since ever since. IMO i think the name change is to help them distance them self from whole Ponzi/Hyip's, Autosurfs, MLM industry that Alertpay had been supporting for quite a while now.

Additionally, Payza (formerly AlertPay) is kicking out certain accounts that were "high risk" (MLM, HYIP, etc.).

Users can transfer funds from Payza to another service, EgoPay, which is possibly a service owned by Payza.    EgoPay transactions are not reversible.

Incidentally, CA VirtEx allows withdrawals to Payza.  That means anyone wishing to cash out bitcoins has a way to withdraw the funds to their Payza account.  Payza bank transfers to many countries, including India, are then possible.

CAVirtex does list in their terms of service that they only serve users in Canada.  There does not appear to be any identity verification required though to open a CA VirtEx account, to trade, and then to withdraw to Payza (at least for amounts below their AML dailiy maximums).  There are no guarantees with that though..
