After lurking here for years I finally have something to share.
My name is Lahav Levi, I’m a cinematographer and filmmaker.
I have assembled an independent team of Bitcoin enthusiasts to go on a journey and produce a full length, and now, English speaking documentary.
You might have seen the post started by Meni Rosenfeld

I am now starting this thread as an announcement, the team and I have decided to change some aspects of the project and explain our concepts and ideas publicly.
About the Project:
‘Crypto for the masses!’ is a feature indie documentary about bitcoin, the future of cryptographic currency
around the world and mainly about the growth of a new alternative economic reality.
The film will follow personal stories, explore different opinions and introduce this technology to the viewers.
This project aspires to bring cryptocurrency into the daily routine and dialogue of everyone.
We will bring to the screen different opinions and insights from well-known public figures and provide a down to earth explanation of what bitcoin is.
The film will also explore the basic history of cryptocurrency and try to create historical events in bitcoin's evolution.
What I mean by this is that I have several concepts for the storyline and documentation of the film.
Following specific Characters, preforming social experiments, incorporating archive and news footage from around the world and
documenting an actual tourism revolution in a special small town made possible by implementing bitcoin payment acceptance in the majority of the
town (200 businesses- The Mayor is already on our side and helping us).
Eventually, Edit the whole thing together add some good illustrating animations, compose a soundtrack and create a masterpiece.
To complete the project without being sidetracked by profiteers we need to ensure that the integrity of the project will not be compromised before completion.
Our current local crowd-funding isn't coming along so well, we have therefore changed our target to global instead.
This is a good thing for us and the world! good things are on the way...

We have been actively promoting our crowd-funding campaign in social media and the local mainstream media.
I have been interviewed for an economic TV Show on one of the 2 major channels in
Israel and there was a newspaper article printed about the project.

As I have stated, we will produce the film in English and include special reality documentation of stories and experiments.
We are concerned our current original goal will not be met at first and have already started conducting plan B, crypto crowd-funding trough Mastercoin.
I will be very happy to hear more ideas and options about this from you guys.

The current crowdfunding is taking place at

Bitcoin payments are not integrated into the Headstart platform, however you can pledge bitcoins in one of two ways:

You will get the same benefits as with donating through the Headstart platform, and if the drive fails, you will get the money back.
The film will be produced with the professional support of the Israeli Bitcoin Association, and will be free for everyone once crowd-funded and produced.
