maybe you wanna start with the signature campaigns that refuse to do escrow, and sometimes open self moderated topics

The community normally sees straight through them and they get called out almost instantly.

Bitcoin Police is a fake!

Can you elaborate on that (but not saying I trust him just because he's calling out scammers)?

Bitcoin Police is a fake!

He has a lot of negative feedback from what look like scammers accusing him of being an alt of a scammer, but none of the bad feedbacks are linked to a source. Can anyone actually provide info or are they all just butthurt that they got called out?

You ONLY have to read the news: Companies Send Free Bitcoins As Advertisements.

Yes, he is a well known scammer and that user is obviously a sock or a shill trying to promote the scam even more.

Bitcoin Police is a fake!

If by fake you meant he is not really a police, you are right. He can't arrest the scammers and help you recover your lost bitcoin.
But you don't need to be a real officer to bust scams.

Interesting that OP has received 9 negative trusts (7 accounts with negative score, 2 accounts with 0 post and are probably nuked) within just a day.
From that point of view, OP is hated by the scammers, and I guess that sort of indicates OP has a great start for exposing scams.

Thank you - you are 100% right  Cool

I will be keeping this forum clean from scammers!!

It doesn't really indicate anything. People will leave you retaliatory feedback just if you leave them negative feedback regardless of whether it is justified or not.

so bitcoin police is a hyporcrite then?

besides our common sense is probably the best thing to avoid scams etc. Plus admins decide to lock or delete an entire thread right.

Lol. that would be ironic if it did happen. Hope Bitcoin Police isn't trying to pull a long con.

Lol indeed.  The classic con artist gains the trust of his victims by helping them at first...then lowers the boom!  Money gone.  But time will tell.

Bitcoin-Police looks like an alt of a troll. Seriously. He spots scammers after they've already been accused of scamming. . . He also doesn't seem to have any real opinion as well. Just look at his horrible rep!

You know, with more and more scammers showing up in bitcoin community it's hard to trust people around. Actually it's not such a bad idea to have some sort "authority" over here to look after those scamme posts. May be i'll think something up  Roll Eyes
