The ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) recently released a position paper on Bitcoin ATMs. In the paper they outlined their concerns and recommendations for the Bitcoin ATM industry sector. Just like the BitLicense and the NYDFS, the ATMIA is calling for BitCoin (yes, they capitalized the "C" about half of the time they mentioned Bitcoin) to be more regulated than the current ATM industry.

So, even though I never need to provide any personal data to send or receive bitcoins, I somehow need MORE protection than with a debit card that ALWAYS sends my full identification to both the bank and the vendor? Sound legit...
