I cannot open my wallet anymore. It first happened a few days ago, and I haven't been able to since. When I double-click the icon on the desktop (targets the wallet file, has always worked) nothing happens. All I see is that the computer hourglass (or circle as it is now) shows for five seconds, then nothing.

I use Win7, 64bit.

My wallet has roughly 300 transactions and 100 addresses used. Other wallets open as normal.

I have the same wallet on another machine. It works there, albeit slowly.

I guess the problem is that too many transactions clog the program. But why does it not open at all?

Try to delete the app but don't remove any file in the AppData, it would be better if you make copy of the files and then try to install it once more. If the files in the AppData were deleted when deleting Electrum, then copy the files from the back-up you made. Then, open the app, if the app asks seed phrase, then try to add it or the app may automatically import the files as it is in AppData or try to import yourself. Smiley

i have exactly the same problem, win 7 64bit.

Tried to reinstall but not resolved.

Try using standalone version. I think it is better than windows installer. BTW have you stored your seed phrase? Without phrase, it maybe be a little hard to access the wallet. Storing the AppData before uninstalling the app and then run standalone Electrum. It may help. If you know the phrase, just enter it! Smiley
