I think there's only so far you can go with advancements in the crypto tech. I think a coin should be valued far more on its real world application, alot of these anon coins will end up being used for nefarious purposes and in my opinion thats a huge negative as it will attract the attention of Law enforcment and Govt agencies. It also plays a huge factor in mainstream use and adoption of the coin.

I may be biased in my opinion but I believe cannabiscoin has a future and can be used legally for real world applications. 5 star + pod rating with dev's that are extremely focused on meeting their goals. Really cant ask for more than that.

Aero would be my 2nd choice for many of the same reasons as cannabiscoin.

Craigscoin is a joke... The dev is the developer for minerals coin and he sold out and bailed on that project, and will do the same again with this new coin. I just feel bad for the people who don't realize this since every post in the ANN saying it just gets deleted being that its a self-moderated thread! The only coins I think have any potential on this list are AERO and LIBREX

I was looking for a "None" option, cause it looks like a long list of crapola to me.

I do hold some altcoins, but I just feel like if a coin has to get PoD, then they're not doing it right. I'm not gonna name any, but none of the coins I hold are on that list. It just seems a lot more like proof-of-collusion or proof-of-paying-some-guy-named-cryptoasian than proof-of-developer imo.

I'd like to know when we're going to get a PoD done on that Satoshi Nakamoto guy.  Seems really shady to me. Bet that's not even his real name...

The point of the whole system is to stop shady behavior. Any Dev can sign up for the review. I dont think there are requirements to being reviewed. The guy is a full time youth pastor, hahah. Itd be hilarious if he was running a scam. Its more for newer coins, or coins looking to prove their dev. Black, lite, Dark or doge dont really need a review like this.

There are much better scams to run in crypto... A scam operation thats set up to prove coins are not a scam. It would be the inception of scams...Brilliant!

At the end of the day the only real PoD is proof of development. Shadow eclipses all the names on the list in that department. Imo, proof of developer transfers credibility over to a central authority, which is the complete opposite of what crypto is about (trustless decentralization).

Here are a few Proof of Developer projects that didn't stop people from getting scammed:

Proof of developer is free man.. It's just a process that lets holders see some specs on the developer. It doesn't mean the dev or the coin is verified legit, it's just some extra details holders probably wouldn't have come across.

XCloudcoin with its new QT wallet to be released this week is in my opinion just as promising as Librex and Stealth.

Check it out for yourselves! Smiley

I think the best PoD measurement is to judge a coin by its Github commits.

I also think sadly 80 to 98 percent of these coins will die, proving that having a "PoD" rating doesn't amount to much. Sad
