Huobi withdrawal resumed after misoperation involving 920+BTC

As per the weibo of Huobi:
Due to mis-operation, 27 users were over-paid by 920BTC and 8,100LTC. Withdrawal was suspended 3AM this morning.
Now withdrawal is OK and 880BTC and 5,400LTC has been returned.

Well, that's the official announcement. The recourse is possible because Huobi adopts real name authentication.

How was it possible the users were overpaid? Are those users under any obligation to return the btc/ltc? Ethically they should, but technically it was not their mistake.

Banks would do the same thing, if its not your money its your obligation to report it (at least in the US). Had the same thing happen to me with an extra $500 in my account one time.

To be honest, I am quite surprised to see that the customers are so cooperative.

Huobi and Okcoin, their respective claims he is China's most professional exchanges, huh, who is it indeed?  
no doubt, the answer is no Huobi no Okcoin, just like as the king needn't say that he is the king every day, but a usurper must say he is a king every seconds.

Banks would do the same thing, if its not your money its your obligation to report it (at least in the US). Had the same thing happen to me with an extra $500 in my account one time.

one christmas day (dec. 24th) i checked my account at my local bank. it stated DM 3.2 mio (was short before € was implemented).

when i was a kid i had a kids account at some other local bank. one day they put DM 950 000,- (that was in the 70ies)

it happened twice. it will happen again....   checking my bitstamp account daily...

Some user refuse to return the coins and ask HUOBI to take legal actions to get the coins back.

If they don't return it, then they have broken the law. There are many previous cases in China, where bank ATM gave large amount of extra money, and the person refused to return, then were arrested and sentenced to 5-20 years in prison. It won't be pretty if huobi decides to go the legal route and report these users to police, especially since huobi knows there real identity.

As far as I know,actually there are more than 5 exchanges in China who claims he is the most professional exchanges, However there is a old exchange in China named BTC China,this exchange is quite different from others: no futures,leverage,no loan,no stupid promotion,he is never get involved in rat race with others.
