Was the entire Monero attack an insider game? It certainly appears as if.

Either way XMR price is still down to the bottom and hasn't recovered since. Monero holders have lost a large chunk of their investment value. Will it grow back to where it was before the "attack"?

Two people logged in on the same day. That's your basis for this theory?

I have no theory. Neither did I say they are the same. I chose this title to make you read the thread. Do you think they are the same? Nobody knows. Yet it seems like a successful psychological attack which--as a matter of fact-- took the coin's value down significantly.

man i don't know.  i have a HARD time believing that bcx loves monero.

but weirder things have happened.  he didn't get much for less than 280.  and price is just like 320 now so ... not a lot 4 his efforts

I can't see XMR going up for a while now. I think it has sustained an element of doubt that will take a few weeks to recover from. Also a lot of interest is now flowing into NEOS which could conceivably be a stronger challenger against XMR. BitcoinEXpress's last post was in praise of NEOS, and whether that was part of the 'attack' or not remains to be seen. Nonetheless, XMR did a good job of defending itself and I think ultimately will rise again, but not without reason - those days are over.

Moneromann88 being BCX would make sense. I've never understood how someone smart enough to attack a coin could not see through the obvious trolling and spend all his time answering him. Not only they've disappeared at the same time (around 24th of september), they've also reappeared together today.

You should be patient and check it in future. For sure they and many other work together. But could even be same person.

I openly invite any Global Mod, Bad Bear or Theymos to prove or disprove this.

I am not Moneroman88 and furthermore this whole theory about crashing the price is wrong.

I have no interest in Monero financially.

~BCX~

if you openly invite moderators to check it out i believe u. if at first i thought you were moneroman88 its because you seem to share a common interest : destroying xmr. but if its not you, who is it? either its someone you are working with, either you are being manipulated

Again, I have no intentions on attacking XMR as my focus is my pools and DGC if anything.

For the record, I am not working to launch any attack of Monero.

Again, there are NO BCX Monero attacks being planned.

Then, less than 2 days later:

I will indeed force Monero to rapidly evolve or die.

You have your 72 hours, I keep my word.

At that point in time I launch,

If you are cured, you're good to go.

If not, your dead.

Forced evolution is a beautiful thing.
~BCX~

Now how can ANYONE still believe anything this guy say?

Ultros, I can only suggest trying to read between the lines next time. It's going to help your understanding.

believe it not many of us don't care about Monero and you seem to miss that point entirely.
pulling this "their out to destroy us routine" is laughable.
all i care about is having the facts on the table for any and all coins.
why ? so myself and others can make an informed decision about them.
and oh by the way since you guys want to *as usual play stupid..
don't forget the environment that these coins are in.. aka: the context of the situation.
Trolling, attacks on credibility, rampant outright lying, stealing and fighting etc so pathetic bag holders can rip off victims for BITCOIN.
So as much as you want to perch a little shiny halo over top of your precious little angel baby jeus Monero
don't forget your placing it directly in the sea of filth that is the Altcoin scene.
Trying to side step this fact habitually all day and night is an obvious attempt at playing games and is outright dishonest and blatant misrepresentation.. especially to Newcomers !

cut the crap.  Roll Eyes

@Spoetnik

Why do you dislike Monero?

Would you ever make such irrational and illogical statements if faced with a test of Monero's love? I can send you some.

I know you are not MoneroMan88, because I have figured out who it is. I spent a few hours last night doing research into trolls and accounts I suspect are sock puppets. I think I know who MoneroMan88 is already, but I am not about to reveal my cards as I am still collecting data. I will say that whomever is controlling the sock puppets like to talk to themselves to make their posts seem more relevant, and they occasionally take separate sides on issues to throw people off of their trail. The amount of sock puppetry going on in this subforum is crazy.. I so far have about 20 sock puppets on my list, half of them tied to one person.

I have tied you to at least a few of them, I am pretty sure you are Moneroman88 as well. You slipped up on a post and I was able to make a connection, along with the other data points I am comparing matching up.
