The premine is a little scary and the coin is too difficult to mine. You should've made the reward big enough in the early stages to entice people to mine. I might still try to mine some for a few days and see how it goes. Anyways good luck with your project!

There's no coin limit, looking at the source.  It'll go on forever and halve in block reward value every 999999999 blocks.

Apparently the network's hashing at ~1.2 GH/s, so yeah, people are mining it.  I expect that will go up, but drop down by the end of the week, 2 weeks at most.
