Is the month continuous, because there are things like system crashes (depends on the weather) and so on and so forth. Nonce pool it is then. I'd love to be part of this campaign too. Does this include pool mining with a cpu or is it merely for solo mining?
It include pool mining : "You must register in pools: http://xmg.suprnova.cc and http://magi.nonce-pool.com; You'll have to remain mining (estimate a month) in the pool; we will have the pool verify your mining status including hashrate; " Supposed to be continuous; we will carrier out several times of survey on the miner status; if miner is inactive by that time, we will make sure user aware of what we get. Any incident won't affect the user status in the campaign.

One question springs to mind...
If I have say 40 Kh/s total but split between the two pools at 20 Kh/s each, or perhaps 40 Kh/s on one pool for 12 hours then 40 Kh/s on the other pool for the next 12 hours inder "failover" conditions, will this still count as 40 Kh/s daily and thus qualify under the terms of the campaign? Would such a condition be measured?
That's ok, Spexx; just make a note when submitting the form; we will be with user's valid reason. To all others, even if you don't have sufficient hash rate, show us your cpu info and hash rate, I'll get you in, I only ask you to do us a favor, love magi! You may not have as many credits as others. you may want to get extra credentials as stated in the OP.

small question. Does that mean that person with 1.5MH/s and other with 50kH/s get same amount of coins?

as incentive one with higher hashrate will have higher share, but won't be big difference.

This is a great project and I fully support CPU mining.
There's just one little problem... Well actually it's a big one.
I'm getting 100Kh/s with 7 cores of my FX-8350... so what are the users cranking out 5,000-10,000Kh/s using?
This completely violates the spirit of this project. If figures can be trusted (and I know pool figures can be wonky, but they're pretty close to and generally around) with a pool (nonce-pool) hashrate of 54,000Kh/s that one top user is 20% of the pool of over 350 users, and is 10% of the entire network!
Back to square one.

It's likely that people have a CPU farm, but it's also likely some other reasons ..

It's likely that people have a CPU farm, but it's also likely some other reasons .. Well yea, and check out what happened to Phoenixcoin when they had a hashrate drive-by. That second spike there is more PXC being created than had previously existed, in two days. I'm not sure what kind of a network you want to get going but as developers you could easily set things up so that one person doesn't have 100 times as much power as another.

We have a block reward adjustment (OP) that resist to creation of many coins that will make sure XMG won't be like PXC even there are GPU miners. We do attempt to suppress the net hash, like this campaign, while I am still thinking of other approaches, though people are saying we can't do much along that. I will try my best anyway.

That depends on what processor(s) you have. Best to try them all.
We could do with some links to the miners in this thread, in the first post preferably.

Best speed from these here... http://graymines.net/miners/magi/Only slight difference in speed running those on my FX-8350, but you'll have to see for yourself. Just tried chopping my ram speed in half and found no drop in speed so that is irrelevant.
