your price prediction by end of 2014?
It is very hard to predict bitcoin 3 months ahead because a lot of things can happend that may change my perspective in that time. Things we don't know yet. I'd say anything between $500-$900 if the momentum stays and nothing particularly bad happends. I think $500-$600 is reasonable, I don't think that anything higher is sustainable at the moment. There is far too much downward resistance every time we start building any momentum right now...

i want to believe.. but it's been pretty much 7-8 months of disappointment so far. it's dropped this much because that's a long time for bitcoin not to launch. anyway, i don't think i read anything in OP's post that made me think that what he says is going to happen. not enough people have been buying, so it's not going to magically happen. either winklevi ETF or some other development needs to happen.

In an attempt to not let this thread become about SPECULATION, as the title asked
WHAT IS YOUR BITCOIN CAREER!!!
Take your freakin ritalin dudes n stop smokin the weed... Answer the question asked. Do not hijack this thread with speculation, that is not what OP was about.
Since I first learned of Bitcoin via Cyprus bail-in/rally I figured my place in the industry would be to educate individuals and be a consultant to help people learn and understand what bitcoin is, and proper practices, and all methods of storing of bitcoin, from blockchain.info, USB drives, I learned how encrypt drives with Truecrypt, which means I can teach it. Paper wallets, coinbase, etc. And then describing and comparing the risks to other financial instruments/commodities.

Retirement is my bitcoin career.
Capitalism makes me sick, I don't engage with it unless I'm coerced to for my survival.
I will find something kind and compassionate to do with my ample free time.

Take your freakin ritalin dudes n stop smokin the weed... Friend, you need to deprogram. Unlearn your brainwashing. You should check out Changing Education Paradigms with Ken Robinson. I also recommend Bruce Levine's Rebel Yell. As someone who was forced to take Ritalin from 2nd grade all the way through the end of high school, I find a low-sugar diet and frequent exercise + sex to be a far superior method for managing my "AD/HD" (a misnomer & piss-poor descriptor of the brain style / "disorder", btw). Get this, my former psychiatrist now buys weed from me on occasion. A man with easy-access to any prescription drug, told me weed is the best anxiety relieving medicine he knows of. I shit you not.

What's your Bitcoin Career? Getting better at programming so I can contribute more to the ecosystem, rather than speculate and sit on my ass as I have been doing

JK i wish bitcoins were a little cheaper to grab but mainly my real career in bitcoin is in its subdivided altcoins I have a 60 gh/s bitcoin miner working on slush right now but i paid too much for it im hoping to upgrade for 1000$ or something like 1.5 bitcoins like any chump im looking forward to mining more of my share of bitcoins, since they are going to be around for about 100 years at the very least, or that is what I would suspect anyway, Im in no rush to upgrade but i am. thats how far ive gotten so far

$950 a coin by the end of 2015. Lets go...btc to the moon!
Hopefully we see that price by the end of 2014. I want to see much higher by the end of 2015! $2000-2500 by the end of 2015 is my guess.

I miss the days of daily 30% fluctuations. In three days it could go up easily that much. After all let's face it, a few billion isn't much money these days in the greater scheme of things.

As per current price of btc ($383), I have very small hope that price will go over 500 by the end of this year.

This is my dream too. If I had enough money, I would start some cheap/free education centre for young people to learn electronics and coding.
