Hey guys,

I recently moved to a Mac computer and moved my Armory with it. For some reason, I'm having an extra hard time using Armory 0.92.2-testing on my Mac (though I've read that it's less stable). For instance, right now, I have a ETA of 1.5 hour of Building Databases on Armory, even though online it says it should take a few minutes. Plus, it stated earlier that it would only take 50 min, but the time was extended.

I found the log and found a couple errors. No idea what they mean, though-- would someone be able to help?

I'd love to make some Bitcoin transactions in the near future, just wanna learn how to use Armory properly first Smiley Thanks again! Oh, and I'm on a pretty slow computer, if that changes things-- Mac Mini with a 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM. I'm traveling, so portability is key. Hope that doesn't force me to use Coinbase. And again, I'm on Armory 0.92.2-testing.

Best,
Andrew

EDIT: just restarted Armory. Now it's up to 3 hours. At least it's getting more honest Smiley

Building the initial database takes a while, 1-3 hours is not unreasonable, that is what I saw on my relatively new macbook with an SSD disk.  It is only the first time, however, the next times it takes 1-5 min depending on how long it has been since last time you ran it.  Just don't quit armory during that short database update, or it will assume that something went wrong, and rebuild the entire database Sad

Yes, I have a high-end MacBook Pro with SSD, 16GB of RAM, etc. DB building takes a long time. That's just how it is for now. That's why I'd recommend anybody on any OS let Armory, during the initial DB build, just run overnight.
