Hi All
I'm having a very hard time with BTCJam.com and their customer service

Firstly I tried to make a new investment only to be told I had been "blacklisted".. I have never been told I'd been blacklisted and when I asked why.. I finally got a response just saying pretty much "we will let you know".. I waited a few days and heard nothing.. So I thought, well if I cannot invest with my BTC I might as well withdraw it to use it elsewhere.. So I tried a withdrawal only to get "Error executing transaction".. I've been trying to withdraw for 2 days now and have contacted support at least a few times in different ways, no response.

Is anyone else having these issues? I used to be a really big user & supporter of btcjam but my confidence has all but disappeared..  Why they cant tell me why I was blacklisted and why I cant withdraw is very concerning. I've tried all the different tricks in forums/discussion threads about this withdrawal issue but none of them work. I've changed my withdrawal address and everything.

Have I been Gox'ed?

At this stage, whilst its still early days, I think I'd have to encourage anyone else with BTC in BTCJam to withdrawn (if they can).. just in case..  I'll post here if I get a satisfactory resolution

Normally their support is brilliant and I was really happy.. lately I cant get responses and I'm beginning to worry  Sad

Same here. I'm not able to do nothing with my account. No comment,no investing, nothing. Keep saying i was blacklisted. I sent emails to support team but no answer. Maybe they are still sleepy from the last night party... Whatever i read something interesting earlier... i'm looking for it to see it all community.

Damn - thats even more of a worry..  This is pretty much happened with bit-mining.co and some other websites that went dead on me.. these weird problems where they wouldnt pay out (simply because their wallet was empty) and support getting increasingly slow to respond, then bang it all disappeared along with my btc...

If they are a member of the bitcoin foundation - I wonder if we can lodge a complaint with them?? I guess we need to give them more time first.

I might post a link to this discussion on twitter and hope they respond

Hmmm maybe thats why I was blacklisted.. perhaps I mentioned their competitor somewhere... I wont mention it here until I know they are not going to respond and wont say anything negative about BTCJam until they have had the opportunity of reply

I posted on their facebook and twitter to come and respond to this thread - hopefully they will set our concerns to rest soon.

Did you have money stuck in there? I don't get why people bother with these sites. Most lenders will probably be just building up to a con.

my suggestion is to send them support ticket with link to this thread so they aware that we know (btc community) they doing something which worries others.  maybe they will announce something or will reinstate your account.

I've had support tickets lodged for several days now !  I guess we will just have to give them time - other users are complaining on facebook that the investments page is not loading too.. Maybe its just a server/technical issue

Why just don't you go to bitlendingclub.com? They move very fast with identification trust me you will not regret. I waited one week for btcjam to verify my id and after 4 rejects whitout any explanation why or what should i do, not even an answer, i decided to try BLC. Guess what, in one day my account was full verified and my loan is funding right now Cheesy

LOL BLC was the competition that I also use that I didnt want to mention, but now that someone else has, I too think its a better service/site.

quick verification dosnt necessarily means better service. They can just take on board anyone to reach some level of active accounts because that's how they makes money and if something will go wrong they will pack and long time gone.

They are starting to respond to some clients on twitter - but all they say is they need to lodge a support ticket... good luck getting the ticket answered/responded to in a timely fashion Sad

I FINALLY got a response back about my blacklist

***************
Our system has detected that your account has been associated with another that is overdue. We have removed you from the blacklist, but you are not able to any new loans on BTCJam.

Best,
Alexis - BTCJam Support

***************

Where the heck did they get their information? I've never borrowed BTC on any site, ever (I'm an investor) - what a load of crap that I have been associated with another thats overdue? Whats the association? A referral?  Perhaps someone I left positive feedback for before has defaulted and I'm getting punished?? Stupid BTCJam - thats not the way you treat customers if you want them to hang around - we have other options!

As a side note - it seems that if you are blacklisted - you cannot withdraw - the moment they took away the dodgy blacklist I could withdraw again

Way to go with the descriptive errors BTCJam

Are you actually active lender? because "..i heard scam rate is much lower...." is not enough to be sure it is and to drive people there.  don't get me wrong scams can go anywhere but what they doing differently that others so i suposed to trust THEM?

s1lverbox i'm not. I am lender but on btcjam.

I finally got an response too.

"Your account has been blacklisted as there has been a violation of our terms of service. See here: https://btcjam.com/legal/tos"

You facking kidding me? You blacklisted my account with 0.5 BTC deposit,1.5 BTC pending receivables and 1.58 BTC active debt and all what i got is an extremly short and nosense answer from support? omg...
