This is BY FAR the best anon solution out there currently.
No matter what happens you will never get discovered.
For those of you that are about to make a dumb comment. Take the 12 min to learn about what you are about to say so you don't sound like a idiot. All those "on chain" fanboys need to face reality. Sooner or later you will be discovered and your transactions will be traced back to you. It is not an "IF" but "WHEN" someone cracks it. Its on the public ledger. It WILL at some point be cracked, and when that happens, it will uncover and link the users transactions.
This WILL happen! IT IS ON THE DAMN BLOCKCHAIN for gods sake! CryptoNote coins are good for speculation, the marketing and promotion of these coins are pretty good, so people will keep buying them and there is a good opportunity to make some profits prior to the tech being exploited.
NEOS doesn't have this problem, if there is an attack on the group of nodes, there are no records to find on them, so the anon tech for Neos would just be moved to a new group of nodes.
For an anon system to be safe, and users anonymous, even during a major attack, the transactions have to be split up, spread out, moved around, mixed together between different addresses that are "nobody", put into different blocks, in different amounts, etc, etc, etc, is the only FOOLPROOF way to do it.
If you are counting on ring signatures to last LONG TERM you simply don't understand how they work. They work now. But if you HAVE to stay anonymous and your transactions depend of it, relying on ring signatures to keep you safe like I said may work today but you are gambling that they won't be cracked when you happen to be relying on them. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. PERIOD. And many people smarter than me and you have warned the community about this.
Neos is the best answer to remaining anonymous if that is something you are depending on. CN anon coins are a ticking timebomb. Stay away from them or risk suffering becoming exposed.

This is really awesome "Coins Source awards NeosCoin a 6/7 Trust verification score, the last point will be awarded on the 1 month anniversary of Neos." "Coins Source interviewed Twoturtles (alias of the lead developer/founder) of NeosCoin for a potential news story coverage that would be launched. A Coins Source employee asked Two if he wanted to become trust verified with Coins Source and he kindly agreed. Shortly after, On August 29th, 2014 T.k. Hamed (CEO of Coins Source) spoke with Two for about 1 hour on the phone, and we inquired several question about Neos. Twoturtles was quick to respond and give a great overview on his philosophy and the direction NeosCoin would be headed in. The lead developer/founder of NeosCoin is perceived to be very level-headed and highly skilled when it comes to coding his coin. He shares a vision of creating the best coin possible, and has been working relentlessly to achieve a solid code structure for Neos. We had no trouble in identifying the lead behind NeosCoin and he promptly submitted all information verifications within an 24-hours of us requesting it. At this time, Coins Source awards NeosCoin a 6/7 Trust verification score, the last point will be awarded on the 1 month anniversary of Neos." http://www.coinssource.com/trust-index/neoscoin-neos/

http://cryptoasian.com/neos-neos/"This POD Analysis actually covers both [NEOS] Neos & [BELA] Bellacoin Neos [NEOS] is lead by a developer named Kris (US). Kris is more commonly known as Syntaks in the Crypto world. Kris has been face verified by his personal facebook account, video chat over Google Hangout on August 20th, and a public posting on his first coin, Bellacoin, http://igaming.org/cryptocurrencies/news/interview-with-bellacoin-creator-kris-borodiansky/. Kris has also submitted his cell phone number and personal email address. Kris has stated that he started with shell scripting (shell, tcsh and the likes) right around with Linux at kernel 0.96. Kris went onto learn C a bit, C++, perl, sed/awk, LISP, PHP, and JavaScript. Kris has attached a screenshot of the NEOS organization's Github. Kris can be best contacted through IRC syntax, or through the email that can be found on the Bellacoin.com website. Kris and I have been in contact via email and video chat. There has been no in person contact with Kris and there has been no notarized documents given. With the above information along with other personal information that I have gathered about the developer of Neos [NEOS] the following rating of 4 Plus+ PODs has been given."

V2 will be added today on mintpal when mintpal will be in Version 2.
Proof? mintpal said it btw. from mintpal "Audit is estimated to finish at around 2345 UK time." this mean under 3 hours and you will see it buy it now on bittrex or polo when its cheap, when you want, v2 of neocoin windows wallet will be also done today (i predict a few moments after mintpal is online again). https://twitter.com/moolah_io/status/517741863525437440
