why solo mining is not working for me

Hi jw how the hell to mine solo not actually mining bitcoins an alt coin but should be like the same idea right ... I set up the config file in app data roaming and what not but still says bad url connection when i try 127.0.0.1 for some reason with the bat file. sorry guys cant figure it out any help would be appreciated (marscoin) btw

You need to try 127.0.0.1:PORT_NUMBER

That PORT_NUMBER must be written in .conf file. There you also need to have pass and username and use the same in miner.exe.
