When is 7990 coming is the bigger question here. Maybe never ...

ya. 7990 might not come out. It can not compete with the 690 but then also the 690 is expensive. Maybe at a nice price.
Then again, if they already put enough RD into it they probably would.


Or maybe it's part of the plan. Release the 7970 first, get 1 upped by nVidia, release 7990 second, 1 up nVidia...

I thing the 7990 will be very close to 690. just look for the real heavy Games, ok BF3 ist outstanding.
