Bitcoin has open the doors to our freedom, and has united humanity with a common global means to exchange for goods and services.

The next step would be to implement the Bitcoin protocol to unit us spiritually.

My project with the help of the community would be to root out a currency that would be mine with the mind.

The meditating process will incentivize the miner (You) to meditate and to earn Spirit-coins,(or maybe anther name) with this the user with the most Spirit-coin will be a more balance, calmer, and a connected person.

The user with his or her new earned wealth will lead there life more balanced and connected with there community. If the user decide they want to start a business with there wealth, the chances that it will be logical and useful will be determined by the time and effort the user puts in to training there brain. A trained brain has the ability to focus with confident in there believes, which will encourage them to continue there questionable project plus not loose sight of there connection to there fellow man.

Our world shouldn't be run by individuals that are not balance, posed and connected. This coin will increase the possibility that smarter, wiser and logical individuals would express them self and open up a path for the corrupted , selfish and the war enthusiast to join in on a more peaceful community.

We don't need to work in a eight hour job that will do not like, to promote planned obsolescent, that is not logical. We don't need to compromised our time away from our families because our environment nurturers that, there is no logic to that and we definitely don't need to brutally murder one another in wars for oil, territory , religion , ones freedom ,ect, this is purely primitive.

I am asking for a programmer or programmers to get behind this project to build up a protocol that will have a public decentralized ledger that will incentivize the user to meditate , with an EEG device . The device will read the users brainwave to determined if the user is meditating and provide one coin for every 10 minutes in his or her progress.

Assuming you're not looking for free labour (won't happen) and have the Bits to roll with... post your specs and offer up a bounty. I'm sure there are several talented dev's that could use the work. In the meanwhile, getting people excited about hooking up to a machine is going to be the real challenge. Best of luck!

I guess it's difficult to create any kind of currency out of people's meditation.

For one, in principle, you might not want to do "trading" or whatever kind of interchange of the results of people meditation. I believe it makes enlightenment look really cheap.

People meditating connected to EEG devices will be something first tailored to the First World. People who don't have their immediate (physical) needs fully satisfied won't bother trying meditation, or if they do (like anicient cultures who do not need all that technology to connect to the universe, as it were), again, they likely won't care about quantifying their enlightenment.

On the other hand, we're all human and always seek to try what's next. Some say that Bitcoin is a return to the bartering era, which (you might say) is a more natural form of trade, as opposed to our sophisticated debt based economy. Who knows if there is a bit of that in this thread, whatever there is positive about the old ways.

Despite my initial shock at the joining of the meditative and cryptocurrency fields, this looks interesting. Here's one point to ponder: Mining in principle is the most monotonous task, a kind of brute force attempt to find keys. Mediation should be something focused and discriminative. How to reconcile one brute-force activity with such a refined endeavor?

thank for your reply .It difficult because the foundation has not been build yet .This is what i hope to get out of the community, or start it out my self.

This system For the time being will be a transition to enlightenment hopefully. It will surly propel us gradually to something better.

The first world would need this the most, they have been disconnected for the universe which is what meditation brings. These enlighten individuals can't progress much if the majority of the population are in complete lost of there self worth. I'm sure these enlighten people believe in the undeniable true that you can't start something from nothing, which is why logical we reincarnate and when we do it's back to what we inherited ,The good and the bad.

Bitcoin and all of it altcoins are a technological advancement to find a better way to realize our unification. emerging out of these system will be a platform for which the reason we live, which is to express one self. will desperately need to catch up on our spiritual development, using our technology to kill people in wars is a clear sign of that.

"the meditative and cryptocurrency fields" i guess you can call it that.lol

I think this idea needs to be refined. A LOT.

One thing I will say is that the greater market might not value MeditateCoin, or whatever, very highly. If someone made bitcoins or some other currency by selling something or operating mining hardware, and meditators are generating coins simply by maintaining alpha waves or whatever, then they might have to meditate a lot in order to get a gallon of milk.

I'm not sure how much the market at a macro level would value someone sitting in their bedroom trying to maintain an alpha-wave output on an EEG. Sure, there might be "marginal benefits to those around you, bro". But I think that looking to be valued for being passive is a mistake.

How about using those alpha-waves to paint a picture or something!

This precisely describes a Proof of Stake coin except for the whole well being part.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

I agree it needs some concentration on the details, but at its core it will find it usefulness.

The value is not in the coin, it's in our society to respect its self, it's in the uplifting of our evolution and it's in a global consensus we are all in it together."MeditateCoin" As you put it will have a great value when people of different back ground will find common ground in disputes that they had for generations because logic will take precedent.

You got the right idea, our owe Alpha-wave is what give us the poise to calculate the millions of possible scenario you will execute next and express its self with the concentration of millions of incarnation, you and i have a different definition for passive because i don't see that as passive .

Or using alpha waves to free us up of artificial scarcity of energy.

thanks for your reply

So, yes, keeping an open mind, we could say that finding keys requires an effort (work) to be applied, just as achieving results in our inner world (the mind, the brain, if you will) also requires focused and specific work.

I believe it would then be the moment for those cyborg-enthusiastic scientists, mathematicians and technicians out there to step forward and give their finest ideas on the subject.

Don't look me as if I am a wild-eyed scientist myself. Cheesy, I've just been perusing Lem's "The Cyberiad" and Wiener's "Cybernetics: control and communication in the animal and the machine".

How would you guarantee that nobody could develop a computer that gets the same results as the people meditating?

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.
