Hi guys.

I want to develop a app on the iPhone that allows you to View/Stop/Start any of your workers (Using a special miner that is, or maybe even a plugin so that all miners can implement it).

I'm not so sure if this idea is great or not, but what do you guys think? Please post bellow.

I just searched the word Bitcoin on my 4S and found these apps available. If they are eliminating Bitcoin apps, let’s see how fast these disappear out of the app store. I wonder if the FBI has a push going against Bitcoin? Dwolla visited and rules change. FBI report found. Apple doesn’t want to touch the apps anymore. Tinfoil anyone?

Bitcoin Ticker
Bitcoin Miner Stats
BTCMon
Bitcoin App Free
Bitcoin Price
btcReport
Bitcoin Quote
Bitcoin Explorer
Bitcoins Mobile
BitRate Bitcoin Monitor
iBitcoin
iBTC
BTCStatus
Coinbits
Coineer Informer
FriendlyPay
BTCGuild View Pro
BitWatch
BTCMP View
BTCGuild View Lite

you mean none of these apps have that feature?  Why would you want to start/stop your miners you want to keep them running always?

I dont think its such a great idea. If i ever need to check my miners I look at my account on btcguild/deepbit/etc.. through the browser on my phone. There are also services which monitor your miners and send you emails if they crash.

I just did a search of those apps and most of them shows the Price per bitcoin. I wanted to develop an easy app that can Stop a miner ( Can't think of a good reason why yet), Start a miner if it's been stopped (or if it crashed).

But I see where you're trying to get at. Maybe I can develop an app that can give detailed info of the top 10 pools (Like BTCGuild and such)

If you really needed to you could SSH from your phone to BAMT to restart your miners.
